January 23, 200620 yr Using the console to get the katana early seems a bit to defeat the purpose of a crpg. Much like making a beeline to get the APA in Fallout2. Pretty weird way of enjoying a game. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

January 23, 200620 yr Nope, disciplines dont affect dialogues. Kinda pointless since ther are three different manipulative convo skills already available - Intimidation Persuasion and Seduction.
January 23, 200620 yr Author It's probably not using the discipline itself, but Ventrue can use Domination in dialogue, and Malkavians can use Dementation. Kinda pointless since ther are three different manipulative convo skills already available - Intimidation Persuasion and Seduction. Unless you don't have the enough points in them. I find that they tend to be much more reliable too, as just because you see that Intimidation Dialogue option, doesn't mean it is going to work. Plus the Dementation one in particular is very amusing.

January 27, 200620 yr The axe is slow, powerful but slow. I prefer the bush hook. The katana is very quick and powerful. The thing is you dont begin to get these weapons till around a third of teh way through the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are there even different weapon speeds? I timed the Katana and the Bush Hook and they were identical. Never liked the axe though, so I didn't time that one (it's so... crude)
