Musopticon? Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 See those little folders? There was double the amount of stuff on the desktop, before I made some management and hauled half of the stuff in to those. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Diamond Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Also shows how bad I am at keeping desktop tidy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, if you think yours isn't tidy, I'd like to introduce you to mine. * attachment snipped * Edited February 16, 2006 by Diamond

Diamond Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 MIT? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They have their computer graphics lecture slides freely available.
Lancer Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 WoD is pretty cool but we have already seen at least TWO CRPGS set in WoD (Redemption and Bloodlines). That said, a slight change of pace but still WoD would be a Dark Ages CRPG. What would REALLY be interesting to experiment with would be a Superhero RPG like Champions. To my understanding, that has never been done by anyone and it would be interesting as well as refreshing just to see how well a superhero CRPG would fare. It would be cool if nothing else but to have another CRPG genre out there alongside the stock fantasy and action RPGs. Lastly, I third having a cyberpunk RPG but set in something other than Shadowrun. Cyberpunk 2020 is a good choice but I think even better would be SLA Industries or Iron Crown Enterprises' Cyberspace. Lancer
Musopticon? Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I don't dig obscure licences, more popular settings have a greater public and a better chance of happening. Nayway, Mythos was making a superhero rpg before Magic and Mayhem, too bad it was cancelled. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Musopticon? Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I would have, because it sounds interesting, but I had already added my vote before seeing the info. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Darque Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I would have, because it sounds interesting, but I had already added my vote before seeing the info. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's ok, it's the thought that counts
@\NightandtheShape/@ Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Traveller would be nice, alwaya was a bit partial to it since being a kid! Shame, i doubt it'll be seen, "I'm a programmer at a games company... REET GOOD!" - Me
Hurlshort Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Shadowrun is a big favorite, and that's no surprise. Alternatively, I'd love to see a RIFTS type game, but I have no clue how it would be done. RIFTS was huge, so you'd have to just choose an area.
Darque Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Rifts is an awesome setting Though the rules definately need a second edition re-write
baby arm Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 (edited) I had to vote for Shadowrun. I love the setting. It would suck crazy balls if it ended up a MMO, though. MMOs is dirty. As for RIFTS, isn't there something in development? I thought I read something about in the past year. edit: The Rifts game was an N-Gage title so I don't know if it even came out. Edited January 23, 2006 by baby arm
Diogo Ribeiro Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I've been waiting to play anything Rifts-related for quite some time on the computer, after having heard a few things about the PnP system. Then they go out and make it an N-Gage game. Waste of development time...
Hurlshort Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Rifts is a pretty epic setting. I know some people hate MMORPG's, but this would be the best setting for a futuristic MMORPG. There are just a ton of different areas that have completely messed up stories. Imagine taking a high level character into the jungles of South America to fight Vampires, or using a mech to battle huge Gargoyles in Europe. Not to mention the Rifts themselves make for excellent expansion ideas. Seriously though, Rifts is like every fantasy and Sci-Fi concept wrapped up in one tight package.
Ellester Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Traveller for the old school feel. lol Life is like a clam. Years of filtering crap then some bastard cracks you open and scrapes you into its damned mouth, end of story. - Steven Erikson
Volourn Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 D&D will always be the first choice. Poll or no poll. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Hurlshort Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I'm pretty sure the poll was for under-represented PnP games. D&D isn't lacking for good games.
Volourn Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 It can always use more. Anyways, as far as the ones listed goes, I'd have to go with GURPS and Rolemaster. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Gabrielle Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 D&D will always be the first choice. Poll or no poll. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course it will. The fans would have it no other way.
Shadowstrider Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 WoD sucks. Big time. RIFTS is cool, but I've never been really inclined to play a RIFTS game. Shadowrun, on the other hand, is an amazing setting. The rest, meh. I'd like to see a truely original setting and rules, where the company has complete control over what they do with the setting and rules.
