Spook
The sidekicks that do everything wrong was the one I always found most anoying. <_< But it gives you reason to mess up everyones else gameplay.

Berserk
Is it even possible to find a protagonist in anime that isn't like 16 years or so? I always find it a bit funny how all these teenagers have military/scientific/survival training that normaly would take half a lifetime to aquire. Just like the Grand List of Videogame cliches says, people over 25 in anime seems to refer to themselves as washed up old fogeys that just want the next generation to take over. Must make for some dull 40+ years for those people...
Musopticon?
Wasn't that dope in Berserk somehting like 21 or so? So, yes it's possible. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Nick_i_am
The only acceptable anime character is the giant robot, the more improbable the better. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Berserk
Wasn't that dope in Berserk somehting like 21 or so? So, yes it's possible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gutts was raised in a mercenary company and was forced to fight from a really early age just to earn his keep. I can dig that one but usually the standard protagonist is around 16 years old and have recieved military training that should take 10+ years to complete in addition to having a somewhat normal life. I just want to see a protagonist that breaks that "magical" 25 year old standard. Edited January 8, 2006 by Berserk

Musopticon?
Bateu looks fiftysome and Major twenty-thirty, but I bet their brains(/consciousness/ghost) are a lot older. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Child of Flame
Bateu isn't fully cyberized, just his eyes, brain, and maybe a couple other bits. The Major is a full cyborg, it's anyone's guess as to how old she is.

MrBrown
Anyone who hasnt noticed the fact that the japanese often moan or grunt instead of speaking in their cartoons, cant have been paying attention. The state rings evidence #1 The second episode of TRANSFORMERS:ARMADA in which there is a long sequence where the children encounter "Meggatronu!" in which they moan "Ooooaah?" and he grunts "Hrrnnn" for several minutes. But those grunts are actually a part of the language! Some that come to mind: un = yes. uun = no. eeh!? = What? (As in, the "I can't believe it!" sense), notice the prolonged 'e'. ha? = What? (As in, the "What the hell are you talking about?" sense) chi/che = damnit. There's lots of others, but I'll spare you the details...

Only thing I know is that the Major got her cyberbody while still a child and that Bateu was some kind of black-ops for U.S.A but do the manga ever touch upon their background before Sect.9? Child of Flame
Manga is for nerds. Also they cost lots of money. Only reason I've seen the cartoons is because I live with the folks for now and they have fancy sattellite TV.
