gonzzalez Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I'm considering playing the game as a neutral character. My questions are does this mean I wont get a prestige class ( I can live with that ) and also how does this affect things with Visas. I assume she has to show up sometime but usually dont you need to be about 75% light or dark? Also if anyone who has played the game this way wants to chip in with any general advice then please feel free.
GhostofAnakin Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I actually played my first game as a grey Jedi, but not intentionally. I just never got enough LS or DS points. You don't get a prestige class, but you are given a prestige class power (I somehow ended up with Force Crush). SteveThaiBinh Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 The game doesn't reward neutral play, I think. There are one or two special items, but you don't get a prestige class, and I'm not sure you can enter the tomb on Korriban. If you find anything extra while playing, please let us know. GhostofAnakin Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 and I'm not sure you can enter the tomb on Korriban.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, that's one thing you miss out on. You can only enter that tomb if you're LS or DS. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
SteveThaiBinh Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Visas will eventually turn up. She's triggered when you reach a certain point in the LS/DS scale or when you've received a certain number of Force Points in total, light or dark. She'll probably turn up later than normal. BAO-DUR Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 lol dont worry about no prestige classes i played my first 2 games without them LOL... if you know the stats to pick you will easily beat

greywolfe359 Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I really hope that in the next game they add this as a "3rd option." A neutral Jedi should get a bonus on the "universal powers" and maybe have reduced penalties on using light or dark side powers. A grey Jedi is what it seems Kreia is trying to turn you into anyway. And you should still be able to go to the tomb. I think that part was crap on this game. What was to keep me from just walking in? I mean, even if you're neutral, if you're the most incredibly powerful neutral Jedi ever, whose going to stop yoU?
dufflover Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Yeah, that's one thing you miss out on. You can only enter that tomb if you're LS or DS. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After doing that freakshow for 1 time that's one thing I won't miss! (except the XP loop-hole which I didn't milk in that game). SamuraiGaijin Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 One option, which actually would fit with a fairly well-roleplayed Grey Jedi (curious about all aspects of the force) would be to get enough DS points to gain access to the tomb, and then make LS choices in the tomb to get back into the Grey area.
Gabrielle Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 You can play neutral and get the benefits of LS and DS if you play it right. Sometimes you have to slip over to DS or LS to achieve some things but I'll make sure Ill gain lightside or darkside points to knock me back into the grey area. I prefer DS though.
Master_Vrook Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I forgot I can't get infinite XP anymore! I'm trying the same thing!
Ioini Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 I got through Malachor V just fine without a prestige class, I beat the Giant Storm Beast and Kreia/Darth Traya with ease. (Yes, yes I used the loophole. )
hawk Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 How about the Neutral ending?! That's where the 6 missing movies end up, I think. Master Vandar lives!
BattleCookiee Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 How about the Neutral ending?!That's where the 6 missing movies end up, I think. There are only 2 (61 movies) The other 4 include LA logo, OE logo, Welcome screen and another one...
ProgenitorHK47 Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Who does happen if you have a perfectly neutral score after beating Traya anyway?
Krookie Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Your charecter just sits down in the middle of the Trayus Acadamy and plays solitaire for a half an hour. Then the credits roll.
Laozi Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 This guys a phony People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
Ioini Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Who does happen if you have a perfectly neutral score after beating Traya anyway? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It just plays the lightside ending as usual.
Master_Vrook Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 So there is no reason for me to complete my Grey character?
Marka Ragnos Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 So there is no reason for me to complete my Grey character? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> except your characters saying it's hard to read you and getting the benefits of a grey pc crystal and being able to wear bindo's robe, no.
Krookie Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 This guys a phony <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seen the episode...
