July 13, 200520 yr I've been hanging around this forum for a short while now and I have noticed a regular ocurance....... When a younger member of the forum gets burnt they allways reply "I have a life" so I thought I'd ask if anyone really has got a life. Me I am in advertising for a online publication so I spend most of my day on the net, but not doing much work
July 13, 200520 yr I'm trying to find a job. I got the haircut (I had been letting my hair grow out for six months, it was finally looking 'long' and not 'shaggy', but alas, it's all gone now. :'( ) and I'll be firing off the applications I've collected this Friday. In the meantime, I do a lot of volunteer work at my Church, and am going down to Mexico this Saturday for around a week and a half to frame and roof a clinic with said Church. So yes, I do have a life, but that's the lamest 'net comeback ever and should not even be acknowledged with this thread.
July 13, 200520 yr I work in IT for Harrahs Casinos. I do a pretty good job of preventative maintenance on most systems here, so while IT at other properties often is busy with plenty of work fixing broken things, I get to play on the net all day. I'm the king of uptime.

July 13, 200520 yr CPA, and yes it is boring as hell. Well not exactly boring, but I get the sense there are more meaningful things to do in life. I'm looking into going back to school to study Biology. I'm only 25 so I have time to change careers...right?
