Love for starcraft is somthing I will never be able to understand, ESSPEASLLY when you strip away the story format for just the game itself. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

Or Dark Reign. dark reign had really superb combined forces possibilities. That is, you could try to do a given job with just one kind of unit, like tank rush. But a combined force, with good scouts and arty support could do it for a fraction of the 'price'. Throw in infantry in apcs, and snipers, and you have ...one hell of a hard game to control. Can't remember quite how I did it though... I think RA had a problem with the sound. You could listen to the music but it would skip horribly so I just turned it off. It's just really scary. My sound is always doing the skipping thing. I really want it to work because in all it's 32 bit glory C&C is actually a good game.
