Darth Flatus Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Changing wolverine's costume isnt a big deal. Keeping any of his traditional comic costumes on film would make him look like a clown.
EnderAndrew Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 Oddly enough, without the makeup and the like, I never would have pictured Jackman as Wolverine. And Jackman had never read any of the comics, but I think Jackman nailed Wolvie.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 "Do I look like some sort of clown to you"? <claws out> I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Musopticon? Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 They couldn't have chosen a better guy to do Logan. Odd... ...or talent perhaps? kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. Weiser_Cain Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 See I don't see his costume as silly looking I didn't think it looked silly in the comic and if done right it wouldn't look bad on film, I have pictures of some japanese people dressed up as the xmen around here somewhere and the wolverine looks dead on. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Darth Flatus Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Thankfully your opinion was not represented when creating the movie costumes. As for the comic costumes over the years wolvie has had several, some of which are civilian.
jaguars4ever Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 The teaser poster is quite impressive: Wolvie pwns all - period.
Musopticon? Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Claws, gutting, yeah. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Ellester Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 1. Blade 3 was a cop-out, and was just two hours of rippling torsos without much clothing (an interesting analogy to the script, with all that action and no point ...) Diogo Ribeiro Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Does the color of his outfit change his story or personality? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I only found the suits in the movie to be lacking and 'meh' at best; I made no point about his story and personality being supposedly changed by his suit.

As for the comic costumes over the years wolvie has had several, some of which are civilian. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wolverine has sort of only had two costumes his official blue and yellow (ok three if you count the early version) and the brown and gold. The rest weren't costumes he just didn't bother to get into uniform (guess there's little reason to protect your identity when you don't even know who you are). Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Diogo Ribeiro Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Wolverine's blue and yellow had two versions, though. The more developed one we know, and the ugly one he used in his first appearance when he battled the Hulk and Wendigo. For some reason, I liked his Amalgam suit.
Darth Flatus Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Oh, when he was Baterine or Wolverman or whatever.
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Ahhh, I'm not worried...so long as they kill female villains off senselessly...

I did mention the earlier version. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (

metadigital Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 They mention on that Hulk comic the "first ever Canadian superhero", either meaning Wolverine or Mondolymnshazzam, or whatever his its name is. EnderAndrew Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 Canada also likes to somewhat falsely take credit for Superman. A Canadian was one of the first artists to draw Superman, while we was working in the states. But he didn't create the character.
