May 30, 200520 yr This is probably more from playing Jedi Academy than KotOR, but I suppose it still applies. Which of the fundamental force powers would you want? These are the powers that are improved regardless of LS/DS in Jedi Knight/Academy and I suppose the same happens in the movies but not as explicit. (with regards to Push/Pull, I'm referring to the quick reflex action ones, not like pulling down celings like Dooku) Pure Pazaak - The Stand-alone Multiplayer Pazaak Game (link to Obsidian board thread) Pure Pazaak website (big thank you to fingolfin)
May 30, 200520 yr I voted for speed, but I wish there were an option for mind control... Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
May 30, 200520 yr Everybody would want Force Persuade. But I guess you could be the champion off almost every sport with speed. That would make you very rich. Master Vandar lives!
May 30, 200520 yr I voted for push/pull just because I think it would be fun to knock someone over and blame it on their own clumnsiness.
May 30, 200520 yr Definitely Force Push/Pull just so it'd make stealing candy from a baby that much easier... DL OO-TINI!
May 30, 200520 yr .... launch you evil woman!! force pull.... hmmm i guess that would be pretty nifty
May 30, 200520 yr I might be evil, but at least I'm not naughty! Bad Flatus! DL OO-TINI!
May 30, 200520 yr think about it: you could yank someone's weapon right out of their hand(s). I mean, Force Jump is awesome, but Force Push/Pull seems more realistic in the Star Wars Universe and plus it's a lot more useful. I mean, if they had Force Pull in K3, whether or not you could pull a weapon out of someone's hand(s) would depend a lot on the victim's strength modifiers. I just think that it would be kind of cool...
May 30, 200520 yr Speed. Then I could beat everybody on the bloody track team and win the gold for myself! But It'd be sweet to have sight, then I could sense money.
May 30, 200520 yr I voted push/pull, but then 5 minutes later I thought about what you could do with sense/sight! Think of all the money you would win at casinos and sporting events! Noone would even learn of you power. And you would never get in a car accident, ever. Sense/sight also provides a limited degree of precognition.
May 30, 200520 yr Force Push. You could push someone away from you that is annoying without laying a hand on them.
May 30, 200520 yr My first thought was for Force Sight, but what exactly will you be able to see? Will it be more than just alignment? "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
May 31, 200520 yr I voted for Force Sense/Sight, but only if you have to purposely activate the power. I do NOT want to have sudden flashes of my death and that of everyone around me. Other that that- lottery, anyone? "
May 31, 200520 yr My first thought was for Force Sight, but what exactly will you be able to see? Will it be more than just alignment? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well, I think alignment is a misnomer. Force Sight should really be showing the hostility to the PC / party. But how is that possible? OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT

Force Sight should really be showing the hostility to the PC / party. But how is that possible? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think this topic is about the game. I think all jedi should get the push/pull line and jump. Though I think speed is a force technique that one must learn, along with sense/sight. But if you're talking about real life I would probably want push/pull Push/Pull [ 7 ] ** [31.82%] Jump [ 3 ] ** [13.64%] Speed [ 5 ] ** [22.73%] Sense/Sight [ 7 ] ** [31.82%]

I said speed, though I want to change it to push or pull. I loved that in JA. No matter how bad the fight got, I could push my way out of it, or pull their weapon away. It was hilarious.
May 31, 200520 yr Author I voted for speed, but I wish there were an option for mind control... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mind control/Persuade is "technically" an LS power. Ofcourse you could use it for evil but referring back to Star Wars, Obi Wan uses it to peacefully get past stormtroopers and stops a guy selling Death Sticks, while Sith in general wouldn't bother; they just threaten. Hmm, sensing/seeing through walls and stuff is useful, but seeing the future would probably make me into a mad disturbed Anakin guy. I voted Push/Pull cos it just seems to be the most practical, and they made a bigger deal of it than jump or speed so I guess I just picked up on that and did the whole imagination thing of just waving my hand to push or pull (like what your character does in Jedi Academy). May 31, 200520 yr It's gotta be push/pull, it would come in so handy for my lazy lifestyle :D "Take the trash out!" "ok" then push it along the road
May 31, 200520 yr Force pull, be handy for when the remote falls off the sofa and onto the floor. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
May 31, 200520 yr Definitely Force Sight then, as I'm on the hunt for evil people. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
