Really interesting this new album. Nile has overdone the whole "epic death metal storms"-feel, but the album has so much to offer, that hardly matters. They even have a sort of doomlike feel to some tracks. Different. Reminds a bit of Mitological Cold Towers. Not exactly egyptian atmosphere, but a more subtle Middle-Eastern-like ambience. They even have a few bouzukis.

Some say "One dice four", which is the pronunciation used in the song, however, I and those I know have always pronounced it "One dee four". Personally, I think "one dee four" is more consistent, since when people say things like "F16" or "AK-47", they usually pronounce the letters rather than what they stand for. Not that it's a big deal, or anything. :devil:"

..although I was listening to "under a funeral moon" until just recently. I think Ive been unconciounsly conditioned because I get instantly happy from hearing "doka doka doka.." drums.
