anakins revenge Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 the only time ive ever seen something more funny than that was when i saw an old man trip over his walker off a highway over pass. the pic sucks by the way. absolutely dreadful
SteveThaiBinh Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 The speech-bubble joke isn't terribly funny. Actually, it isn't at all funny. But the way they're standing together like they're chatting in the queue for the supermarket checkout, and Malak with his arms crossed like he's in a huff, raised a smile at least. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Darth Brooks Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 The thumbnail looks kinda like Picard. That's kinda funny, maybe.

DSLuke Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Hive, that was hillarious And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Lifthransir Bane Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 true that, only pre-teens and pederasts could possibly like anime <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For the most part. That one where the vampire's hand eats a bunch of dirt is ridiculous, but not necessarily all that bad.
Yst Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 It seems to me the first generation of mainstream anime viewers in North America has grown up, and have become anti-anime in their adulthood. Mostly, I find this refreshing, as I did for the most part find the irrational anime fandom among my fellow nerds during the '90s frustrating. I couldn't grasp how a huge demographic of film viewers could become so completely oblivious to the comparative quality of the products of an artform (there really was a large portion of the anime fanbase who would declare any anime whatsoever to be good and to be entertaining, absolutely regardless of its quality of writing or intended audience, as long as it was anime). And I prefer mass artistic cynicism to mass artistic non-judgmental fanboyism and race-fetishisation. I'm glad the if-it-comes-from-Japan-it-MUST-be-good mentality is dying down a bit.
freedom_fries Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 "OMG, anime, somebody please, shoot me in the head <_< There's way too much anime in the world." (quote button isn't working on my computer right now) couldn't agree with you more
