DSLuke Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Our new character isn't so new. He was exiled since the Mandalorian Wars... And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Azure79 Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Malak's twin brother...Twi'lak They are actually Twileks, but Malak had his head tails removed, that's why he's bald.
TheAco Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Did anybody notice the text written vertically right beside their grade of the game? It says that the game include new lightsaber colours: white, silver, orange and dark green, was this previously known?
DSLuke Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 yes And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Craigboy2 Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 yes "Your total disregard for the law and human decency both disgusts me and touches my heart. Bless you, sir." "Soilent Green is people. This guy's just a homeless heroin junkie who got in a internet caf
jaguars4ever Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 I think they must have run a spell check which changed all their HK-47's to Ak-47.

DSLuke Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 I think they must have run a spell check which changed all their HK-47's to Ak-47. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, the droid now comes eqquied with an AK-47 (famous weapon from Counter-Strike). Automatov kalaznicof 47 (or something like that) And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom

He was exiled since the Mandalorian Wars... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If it was a flash back it wouldn't say "Combat Mode Engaged" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And if it isn't a flashback then how do you explain the fact that Malak still has his jaw?? And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Lifthransir Bane Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Flashbacks aren't necessarily unplayable. I can remember playable flashbacks as long ago as FF3 (6?).

DSLuke Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Two points. 1) they don't look like spirits to me 2) Malak died as a Sith Lord, so he cannot reappear like a Jedi spirit afterwards.. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
jaguars4ever Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 An HK-47 repairing minigame is fine and all, but where's our Carth Killing mingame damnit! :">

DSLuke Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I know that, but tell me. How else can you explain this pic??? And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Savage Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 dunno what to say about that malak and bastila picture, theres all manner of possible explanations so i aint gonna delve into it. my top theory is the guy's mind is being messed with.
Darth_Gandalf Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Maybe Revan felt guilty about leading Malak down the darkside only to kill him, so he got lost on Korriban trying to find a way to revive him. Bastila helped and they succeeded in restoring Malak. Maybe it's a clone of Malak's DNA. Maybe they're just suspicious placeholders made to make you curious. Maybe it's just an unexplained game screenshot. "You shall not pass!"
jaguars4ever Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 With 2 more days for the DVD enchanced prima guide I can practically feel the hype on these boards. ^_^
Derro Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I agree with the theory that this is a playable flashback.Though this is very confusing. Why are you fighting a dozen jedi, bastilla and a lightside Malak? I would guess that you were once a dark Jedi or something but I think obsidian knows better than to do the Former dark sith master thing over again? Unless these are just force ghosts of Jedi who fell to the dark side before they died, which is why Malak is in there as a lightside Jedi. VERY CONFUSING

Playable Flashback - it's got to be; if any here's played X-Men Legends, you'll know what I mean.
SilverSun Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Perhaps in that screen the following all apply. It's set up with Revan going Light,Bas alive and Light. The PC is DS and that is why the Jedi and such are fighting the PC,to stop the DSer. And as for the other guy....I've got nothing other then what I said earlier and that's a clone.
Savage Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 maybe the sith were having a dress-up party?
jaguars4ever Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 maybe the sith were having a dress-up party? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Much better.
DSLuke Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Maybe your character was smoking *something* and thus was seeing dreams. " And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
