Eduardo Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Playing ligthside the first time in Kotor I missed all the fun that is mind domination. But I know I will end up playing LS the first time anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> playing darkside was excruciating for me, call me a wimp but killing freyrr really upset me! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jolee wasn't really happy about that, either. But making Zaalbar kill Mission, that was wicked.
GarethCarrots Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 when u play ds what actually happens to carth, last i saw him he ran off into the diistance on the unknow world
Eduardo Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 IIRC, if you are male, he nevers appears again. But if you are female & completed the romance quest, he appears after you defeat Malak, and you get to kill him.

Jedi Master D Murda Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 You would have to assume that if the Republic picked him up when you are DS Female that they picked him up as a DS Male except he didn't return to the SF.
thepixiesrock Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Bastilla won't teach you battle meditation. You could kill her in kotor... SilverSun Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Doesn't mean she couldn't be an option to do so. Go with path A she does,go with path B she doesn't. And that's if Battle Med is one that has to be learned that way.

jedipodo Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I don't exactly know what part Darth Sion/Nihilis play, but I could imagine that you learn Force Crush from one of the Sith Lords. Then this Force power would require an affiliation to the Sith, of course. I was especially thinking of what use the sprecial prestige classes (i.e. "Sith Lord") would be. "Jedi poodoo!" - some displeased Dug S.L.J. said he has already filmed his death scene and was visibly happy that he
thepixiesrock Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I think it would be cool to ,as said earlier, learn powers from a holocron... SilverSun Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 They wouldnt have two different choices of people that would teach you it. They would just go with one... And they would have to do that why? It's all ready been said that certain choices you make play a role in what possible NPC's you have access to for your party. What's to stop them from doing something along the same lines with who teaches you what? Or how you learn it? You could be right but you're not the Devs and the Devs are not you. They could do something very different from what you have in mind.

Eduardo Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I think he tried to write something in spanish "Vamos a jugar por la playa" ? "We are going to play by the beach"?
rika Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I like the idea of learning from an old Jedi master or Sith Lord ghost. You probably might learn battle meditation from Kreia.

SilverSun Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 "We are going to play by the beach"? Little cold where I am to play on a beach. Think I'll have to pass. Thanks though.

Muad'Dib Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 From the dev interviews I've seen Kreia has been described as the mentor character for the player, described as Obi-Wan or Qui-Gon-like. I'm certain she'll teach some if not most of what the character can learn at least LS... Who knows if for the DS one of the very Sith Lords becomes your mentor.
SilverSun Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Sooooo.... ....That's why you want to play on one?
