Muad'Dib Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Um has anyone given any thought to the possibility that this 'Atris' might actually be the PC?? TripleRRR <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is a female PC head with white hair, seen in screenies as a Dark Sider, however it was confirmed it was not Atris and just a separate PC head.
Meshugger Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 The article stated that you will find out what happened to Carth and Bastila, so in other words, they're probably dead. SilverSun Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 How do you get they're dead out of that? Could really mean anything.
Meshugger Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 How do you get they're dead out of that? Could really mean anything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's the phrase that worries me, "You'll know what happened to them". It has a eerie feel to it. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
SilverSun Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 I'll admit it does make it sound kind of bad. But bad doesn't have to mean death.
Jad'en Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Yeah, in SW there are things worse than death, for example the Sarlacc pit :|
alanschu Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 "You'll know what happened to them." I think you are reading too much between the lines to assume that they're dead. You'll just know what happened to them after KOTOR. What did they do? Where did they go?
Craftsman Posted October 9, 2004 Author Posted October 9, 2004 Um they are alive or dead depending on what ya did to them in KOTOR. My guess is that Carth is back in the republic fighting the sith.
alanschu Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I wouldn't be surprised to see Carth helping out on Telos.
Master Jedi Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 beat me to it I was gonna post all the info in the mag, but I don't think you mentioned that there will be another planet from kotor(unknown as yet which) and no tatooine in it
Craftsman Posted October 9, 2004 Author Posted October 9, 2004 The guys who wrote the article siad that they could tell us much more, but Lucasarts kinda put a limit to waht could be said. Which is fair enough.
Master Jedi Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 hehe lucasarts stormtroopers, did you mention this if so sorry I must have missed it some companions may or may not wield lightsabres, have a lot of shaggy body hair, sport Darth maul type horns, wear fancy mandalorian amour, wear sexy tight leather, have cyborg body parts
Jedi Master D Murda Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 hehe lucasarts stormtroopers, did you mention this if so sorry I must have missed it some companions may or may not wield lightsabres, have a lot of shaggy body hair, sport Darth maul type horns, wear fancy mandalorian amour, wear sexy tight leather, have cyborg body parts <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Saw all that stuff in some screenshots.
Darth Sun_Tzu Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 5 out 7 planets revealed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually 6 out of 7 Telos Dantooine Korriban Dxun Onderon Nar Shaddaa Not sure if Peragus counts as a planet. beat me to it I was gonna post all the info in the mag, but I don't think you mentioned that there will be another planet from kotor(unknown as yet which) and no tatooine in it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think they may have been referring to Korriban which has been released on IGN. Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes! "I don't see a problem...then again, SW isn't my life, so what do I know...." - some who makes 27.8 post per day on a SW forum!
Master Jedi Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 i think the best line was "and you thought the first one was good" I hope hyper isn't just saying that but they are usually straight up on whether game good or not
Craftsman Posted October 9, 2004 Author Posted October 9, 2004 They acutally gave KOTOR 86%. The lowest KOTOR score from a mag. So high praise from them is promising.
envida Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 What issue is of hyper is this? I went to the shop and found the October issues, there were nothing about Kotor?
Master Jedi Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 there are more aussies here than I thought
Guest Fallen Jedi Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 there are more aussies here than I thought <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there are more finns here than I thought too
Stargate: 2000 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 5 out 7 planets revealed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually 6 out of 7 Telos Dantooine Korriban Dxun Onderon Nar Shaddaa Not sure if Peragus counts as a planet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> we also really can't be sure if Dxun counts as a planet yet (I know they have it listed under "planets" on the LA page but still). Some people have mentioned that it could be just another part of the onderon world (like the taris sewers or the sith base on mannaan) mainly because you only need a shuttle to get there and not a trip through hyperspace. "The only difference between genius and stupidity is genius has its limits!" - Albert Einstein. "It's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!" "You can try to kill me, you'd fail!, but you can try!" - Revan. "When you have exhausted all other possibilities whatever remains, however improbable must be the truth." - Sherlock Holmes (a.k.a. Sir Arthur Conan Dole) "A lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part"
Chemix Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 to my knowledge it has been stated that both peragus and dxun count as planets in the 7 planets list
