On the leviathan i beat him so quick i was laughing at him. Perhaps he levelled up at some point before the star forge as he was so much more powerfull there.

Also do you think a similar thing will happen with Darth Sion? It was said we will first encounter him on board an 'Endar Spire' type ship (also gave a name but I've forgotten it) but will be unable to fight him. Will he juist stun us and run off, or will some other Jedi fight him off.

If we meet on board a republic gunship would it be the one in the screen shots we see docked to Peragus? But why would we be there if we can leave via the Ebon Hawk? Harder to answer these are.........

I assume he will be more difficult as the game goes on but obviously you will improve more.

I used my Flurry(maxed out) and he ran like a little b-eotch at the Leviathan.

And maybe Sion uses a statis field technique on a small in game cut scene, and out come three top dark jedi or something.

The fight on the Leviathan wasn't really a fight so it's irrelevant if he was 'difficult' there or not. On the Star Forge: I think that depends on character class and stats. I completely forgot about my own stats but it was Scoundrel-Consular and the first time through it was really difficult; I ended up running around to steal time for medpacks before charging him for a brief time, and then start running around again.

If anybody else had seen that fight, they'd never support me as the Dark Lord of the Sith; it looked so pathetic.

Yes I have to agree it would be unlikely!

When i was a scoundral-consular i had to use plauge on him to slow him down, then run around placing mines which he was foolish enough to keep running on.

Another thing that needs changing in TSL- enemies should be smart enough to avoid stepping on mines!

Yes but then how would u beat them then? Surely u'd be stuffed if they implamented that suggestion, talk about shooting urself in the foot!

Yeah it very depends on character class. It was very difficult to beat him on the star forge as a consular, but with my DS soldier-guardian char i beated him very quickly and easily.

Okay not all enemies would avoid mines- your basic sith trooper or animal would be that dumb but not your all powerfull sith lord. Malak didn't survive the mandalore wars by stepping on mines did he?

I think most people found it easier to beat him a a guardian.

No comment for the Leviathan, too easy and unpredictable. Bioware just wanted to surprise you ( and hope you will run:)

I like the idea that u will bump into sion a few times, just as long as they do it better than how they did with Malak! It was stupid that bastila scrificed herself when u were kicking his arse!

He was almost impossible to beat on the star forge with dark consul, cause he resisted almost everything! He was easier when i played with guardian. The trick is to destroy all containers, but the first time i fought him i didnt have a single power to do that. Missfortune...

This is a good point: Bioware's idea of super-powerful bad guys is, all too often, immunity to almost everything, which makes them much tougher for characters that focus on the Force / magic / whatever the scenario's supernatural power is :D than for combat characters. In my experience the Black Isle games didn't tend to suffer from this quite so much (the only BIS pan-immune end boss I can think of is Behlifet, Bioware's all are) so hopefully Obsidian won't make this mistake.

Malak was a dark Guardian, wasn't he? So he should have been less immune to things and better in melee combat, so that the Consular tactics had to be stand-back-and-smite, and the Guardian tactics required attention paid to the screen ;)

Yes I agree what the point of becoming a super strong consular when u cant use any of ur powers against the main boss, it makes it a great waste of time! What i do when i play a consular is to buy/collect any items that improve ur strength, which improve ur sabre skills so that u can defeat Malak more easily!

As far as I know, u meet darth sion in sewers or some underground part of onederon or however it's spelled. I think it was mentioned in the last interveiw. And the endar spire was a hammerhead class cruiser if I recall the texture name.

I believe it's Onderon...

I think that Malak was the most easy to beat with a scout\guardian combination

No not enimes, party members. I was just mopping up the first group of Sand People so I can get their clothes and stuff we where about to enter the Sand Peoples Enclave ground(right outside the encalve) and they both step on that mind then as we went their they stepped on the other two frag mines. Stupid idiots.

Malak was almost too easy in both encounters.

The first time I came across him, I beat him so fast that the cutscene activated before I knew what was happening

It was... who's that... slap... cutscene... oh it's just malak :o
