We could have some kind of pet that when than turn into adults or something it unlocks something or you could race your anaimal or put it in a fight.

"Soilent Green is people. This guy's just a homeless heroin junkie who got in a internet caf

Sounds a lot like raising Chocobos to me.

And I find it kind of funny

I find it kind of sad

I think you should explain your idea more. Im not quite sure it fits in as is.

That could be a mini game. C0ckFights with Space Roosters.

Evolutionary Development

Sounds like a children's game (pokemon) for instance, by the way that you explain it.... :blink: TSL, doesn't need that, now does it? ;)

The idea sound a little too Pokemonish for me, but I wouldn't mind just having a pet that you pet and play a minigame with, but raising them and racing them/fighting with them would take it too far.

Do you mean kind of like the Gizka?

Why not be able to raise an animal who will follow you around (doesn't take up a party slot) and will attack your enemies for you, or protect your ship, like a guard dog, because we've all seen whatkinda shape the Ebon Hawks in in the game.

I dunno, if it was a badass pet like a greasel from Deus Ex (you didn't get to have one, but the fights they bet on were pretty cool), I wouldn't frown on it. But the way you make it sound, it's like Pokemon.

<shrugs>

I don't think they should add pets to TSL. I mean, you couldn't really have a sidequest for them, and they would distract you from more intelligent party members. I don't really know why, but I just don't like this idea at all <_< :rolleyes: [ no offense CraigBoy2]

I don't know, but this idea grates. Maybe its because its potential gain is low and potential damage high.

What damage, we're all going to buy the game anyway, except for maybe Hades, so then either way it's a win for Obsidian.

The idea sounds neat, but I don't think it fits the context of the game.

Will we really have the "time" to do it?

I don't know. Maybe I don't like it because it could debase the KOTOR game. I mean, it would be all little-kidish and stuff if done wrong. I'd consider that just disgraceful. That's probably why it grates so much with me. I can just imagine the horror.

In PS:T you could get a pet Lim-lim, so go figure...

Sort of, but a little more indepth, and have only 1.

I had the Bastilla pet in the first part. After I went dark side of course. She could do amazing tricks... :3

I doubt there will be pets in TSL tho. Spacewolves or bears seem out of place ^^;

I have been working on something... pet-like over the weekend, actually. Not for mini-games or anything like that. It will be a 'something' that augments a member of the party. Anyway, I'll leave it to design to talk about it more when the time is right. Need to make sure I can get it working first. :lol:

Hey neat :o Now that kind of thing would be cool :)

Can it purr ? :lol:

Is it bigger than a breadbox?

Will it kill enemies with deathray eyes? :D

or BIG POINTY TEETH?

Well that sounds better... ;)

I don't think so.

No.

It doesn't have eyes!

or BIG POINTY TEETH?

No teeth either!
