July 8, 200421 yr There is TONS of content in the Hyperspace section. But that doesn't mean I'll pay for it. I'll wait until Episode 3 is released. Most of the good stuff will be included on the DVD in the long run. There are DVD's in the works for the Clone Wars cartoon. The Cartoon Network ran them once, and they may rerun them. And you can always use a peer-to-peer program... *whistles*
July 8, 200421 yr The first DVD will have Seasons 1 and 2 (the seasons that aired). It won't include the upcoming Season 3.
July 10, 200421 yr Author So which planet does everyone think we'll be introduced to next? "You shall not pass!"
July 10, 200421 yr I am going to say Gall a moon of Zhar. A forest world that the Empire used as a Commando Training world.
July 11, 200421 yr Author I am going to say Gall a moon of Zhar. A forest world that the Empire used as a Commando Training world. Give us more info on it. "You shall not pass!"
July 11, 200421 yr Gall this moon of the gas giant Zhar was the site of an Imperial enclave during the Galactic Civil War. The enclave was the home base for the Imperial fleet which patrolled Cadavine Serctor. The southern hemisphere of the moon is ravaged by cyclonic storms. It housed a pair of Star Destroyers and their full complement of TIE Fighters. Lando Calrissian discovered that Boba Fett had taken Han Solo there, after his flight from Bespin, to get repairs made to Slave I after a run-in with IG-88 over Tatooine. Lando, Leia Organa, Chewbacca, and Dash Rendar tried to intercept the bounty hunter and recover the body of Han Solo, but were unsuccessful. Hmm cyclonic storms? Could be interesting.
July 11, 200421 yr Going back 4000 years, the planet probably has only cyclic storms, nothing more. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
July 11, 200421 yr Going back 4000 years, the planet probably has only cyclic storms, nothing more. 4000 years is a long time, could mean the storms or worse though.
July 11, 200421 yr What i meant was that the planet probably didn't have anything interesting on it 4000 years before the empire, thus it will not be in KotOR II.
July 11, 200421 yr What i meant was that the planet probably didn't have anything interesting on it 4000 years before the empire, thus it will not be in KotOR II. *Shrugs* 4000 years is a long time,a lot can change. And with little info on the planet from that time frame something could be written in to take advantage of the planet. But you're pry right.
July 11, 200421 yr Not only that, it would not exactly be a fun and fulfilling game experience walking around in a constant storm. Not exactly the time to admire the beautiful scenery either "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
July 11, 200421 yr Not only that, it would not exactly be a fun and fulfilling game experience walking around in a constant storm. Not exactly the time to admire the beautiful scenery either I want to see some places where it's snowing and raining. Hell throw in a sand storm or something as well. Always adds to the feel of the area, least to me.
July 11, 200421 yr A snowy/sandstorm area would be acceptable, but the whole planet would be too much IMO.
July 11, 200421 yr PC-"Bloody hell I can't see through all this snow. Is everyone okay?!?!" *No answer* PC-"Hello?Anyone?" *Still no answer* PC-"Ah Son of a..."
July 12, 200421 yr Gall is a nice planet, moon. I like it. Is there going to be an ice world in KOTOR 2? the imperial base and the civillian cities were on the norther continents.
July 12, 200421 yr I think snow might show up in the game at some point, might not be an ice planet like Hoth though. Would be something different considering there wasn't anything like that in Knights.
July 12, 200421 yr i had a thought maybe on an ice world cryo gernades would do +1 damage because its ice and your on an ice world just a thought.
July 12, 200421 yr I say lets load up the Hawk and head to Rhen Var. I'm in. Well you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
July 12, 200421 yr I definately want to see Coruscant and it should be a huge planet, but I think it would be alot like Taris, Coruscant also has an upper city and lower city (with the club in Episode II). And maybe a completely new planet like Manaan and Taris in the first KOTOR.
July 14, 200421 yr Author Let's go back to the Rakatan homeworld! Maybe meet some Rakatan Jedi who've learned how to use the force. They were trying when you left the first time... "You shall not pass!"
July 14, 200421 yr I thought the Devs said we were not going back there. I may be mistaken, however. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
