chemchok Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Is Peyton Manning's brother a QB for the Giants now?
kumquatq3 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Is Peyton Manning's brother a QB for the Giants now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep
Volourn Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 GO GIANTS GO! (even if they won't win  ) DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
deganawida Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Is it that time again already? Blast it, I haven't been keeping up. Who looks good this year?
kumquatq3 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 The Giants = Teh screwed. Better switch to the Jets. Little manning is a punk. Is it that time again already? Blast it, I haven't been keeping up. Who looks good this year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The picks I hear include: Titians, Patriots, Vikings, Panthers, Ravens, Colts, Eagles Teams that are "solid": Packers, Jets, Broncos, Seahawks In short, it's wide open, like most recent years Except for Arizona
chemchok Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 The Eagles will be trying their best to loose the semifinals for the third year in a row. L'il Manning's a punk? Maybe the Jets are a better pick if Pennington actually plays during the season. It's so lame that neither the NY Jets or NY Giants actually play their games in NEW YORK (although the Jets do practice on Long Island). In effect, the Bills are the only NY team.
Gromnir Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 ... am somewhat disturbed to discover that k3 is a bears fan. seems more like a seahawks fan... or maybe the 49rs, but not the bears. HA! Good Fun! "If there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and fallacies, to avert the evil by the processes of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence."Justice Louis Brandeis, Concurring, Whitney v. California, 274 U.S. 357 (1927) "Im indifferent to almost any murder as long as it doesn't affect me or mine."--Gfted1 (September 30, 2019)

HA! Good Fun! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, they are my home team, and when I started watching football they were a playoff team with Ditka at the helm soooo..... .....that and I hate myself.
kumquatq3 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 after the first week we should make picks
Product of the Cosmos Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Pats vs Indy was a very good game 2day(Indy had it but they screwed up a TON in pivitol spots). Hopefully the NFL season will be as good too!
Bokishi Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Indy did have it, and I thought for sure that they would make a comeback. Oh well. Current 3DMark
uncdeez Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 The Chargers are going to royally suck again this year. With the Giants 1st rounder they'll have two top ten picks in the draft next year.
kumquatq3 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Indy did have it, and I thought for sure that they would make a comeback. Oh well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All about the turn-overs PS for anyone who hasn't heard, because of the hurricane the Dolphins vs. the Titians is moved to Sat.
Volourn Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I'm bias. I pick Giants by default. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

Ellester Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I used to be embarrassed being a Bengals fan. The 90's sucked being a Bengals fan and living in Ohio. But, no more. I Life is like a clam. taks Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Is Peyton Manning's brother a QB for the Giants now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep <{POST_SNAPBACK}> he is a QB, but not the starter. kurt warner is the starter for now. eli manning is the backup. he got beat up pretty badly in his last outing... taks comrade taks... just because.
taks Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 GO CHEIFS!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i will be in club-level seats at the denver-chiefs game sunday. so far, i've been to two other football games in my life (well, pro). the first was kwinkidentally enough the chiefs vs. 49ers in 1994; joe montana's first (and only) game against his former teammates. the second was denver vs. i can't remember in the same club level seats two years ago. taks comrade taks... just because.
Arkan Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!! "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta

kumquatq3 Posted September 12, 2004 Author Posted September 12, 2004 ....I don't want to talk about football anymore........ Lions 20 Bears 16
uncdeez Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Wow, the Chargers won. Although they baretly beat 3-year old team so it's not really something to brag about. They'll get raped against the Jets next week though.
Arkan Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 They'll get raped against the Jets next week though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If all goes well. ^_^ "Of course the people don't want war.
