August 9Aug 9 Stinky set the bar on that one.Trump Invokes Fifth Amendment Nearly 450 Times in NY AG's Civil Probe of His Business Practices "Can't sleep the drones will kill me."

Doesn't really have any downsides. The only people who are going to be upset about it were rabid covid truthers beforehand who will remain remain covid truthers after, whatever is said. You're neither going to change their minds, nor do convince them of anything else. At this point, why even bother. There is downside, he is being referred to the DOJ for contempt of Congress and possible prosecutionhttps://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/why-was-fauci-held-in-contempt-for-pleading-the-5th-and-what-happens-nextBut we also know the current list of failed prosecutions from the Trump DOJ because of the sensationalism of the reasons to prosecute so I'm not sure Fauci is that concerned? August 9Aug 9 That's not a downside, when the alternative is getting prosecuted for something else. In the end, that's the fundamental problem with weaponising hearings if you actually want to get to the truth of what was done right and what was done wrong: you aren't going to get that if you're actually actually trying to just get someone in trouble to score political points.

But yes the Department of Clown Justice can still pull out the trick flowers and hose him down. "Can't sleep the drones will kill me."
August 10Aug 10 @Malcador is there a real chance Alberta gains independence or just wishful thinking? Can't gauge if jurnos/vultures are just trying to make news from nothing. "because they filled mommy with enough mythic power to become a demi-god" - KP

Devil is in the details with this, some of these people think they get to leave with a huge chunk of our public pension fund, or can just walk off with native lands. Most of these people are just American suck ups that are too cowardly to emigrate Why has elegance found so little following? They want to separate due to people perceiving the rest of Canada leeching off of them via equalization payments and lack of representation due to people not understanding Quebec and Ontario having 60% of the population. I guess they are learning from Quebec in the 90s where they threatened to blow the country up in order to get things. Why has elegance found so little following? August 11Aug 11 Q. How many Trump staffers does it take to change a light bulb?A. All of them. As he holds the bulb in the socket, they heap praise so the world will keep spinning around him. "Can't sleep the drones will kill me."
Thursday at 07:38 AM4 days https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-08-13/trump-spokeswoman-karoline-leavitt-to-leave-white-house/107031078Leavitt is leaving. Its a shock because being Trumps press secretary must be such a great job....no stress and no need to clarify or explain much But she does have a new baby so wanting to focus on that is also a legitimate reason to resign "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. Thursday at 08:21 PM3 days That's as shocking as the sun coming up or it being a day ending in the letter y.Even before she left for maternity Trump made it clear that the problem with Iran- and multiple other issues; so far as he was concerned- was that his message was not being accepted because it was not being communicated effectively. Which was Leavitt's job to do. He also went through rather a lot of press secretaries during his first term. If anything it's surprising she came back at all after having the baby. Obviously, the actual communication problem isn't hers any more than it was Spicer's, Sander's, Grisham's or McEnany's from the first term but has a different common factor.
Friday at 02:21 PM3 days Perhaps the position should be replaced with an AI chatbot? I'm sure it would be about as effective in interpreting stinky's glossolalia? "Can't sleep the drones will kill me."
Saturday at 06:23 AM2 days what happened to birthday cake and icecream boatrumor is usa couldn't even deliver enough soap to their overpriced carrier
Saturday at 07:42 PM1 day I hadn't paid much attention to that and assumed it was stuff coming out about the carrier that had spontaneously combusted a few months ago (ie USS Ford) rather than a completely different one (Lincoln). Can't wait to see Hegseth claim that sailors are literally jumping overboard in the hope of getting to grips with the enemy, which shows that morale is so high, so very very high.

Or building a war alliance for that matter. Crackpot. "Can't sleep the drones will kill me."

CrackpopI wonder if this will ever be implemented but yes its another example of Trump throwing his toys because of the myopic and ill-conceived decision to attack Iran without clear and coherent objectives And then other countries refuse to get involved "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
