Patch notes:

"12 new Force swords were added to the game"

I think they meant to type: 12 Force swords were added to the game. If I remember correctly, you could find a grand total of 1 Force sword from loot

Finished my first play through, which included the first DLC. It was fun, but I didn't much care for the inventory system and having to keep perusing it for better equipment. There has to be a better approach. I also didn't feel like it has high replayability, so I'll wait until more DLC comes out before returning. Finally, choosing talents is awkward because a number of them expect you to know your character build but won't let you examine it. By the end of the game I almost didn't care what talents I chose, so I just picked the next available.

Started a new game with the new new DLC and just got to the Rykad system.

am having heard that this dlc is uncharacteristically stable and relative bug-free for an owlcat release. however, am expecting an inevitable rebalancing patch to drop soonish, a patch which based on past experience has a noteworthy possibility of breaking existing saves. as such, to reduce frustration, am gonna wait to restart a new game and play beyond character creation until after the next patch.

I haven't run into any issues yet but I just got to Rykad Minoris, which I always do last.

Why do you always do it last?

The reward for doing it earlier is less combat which isn't a benefit for me vs the profit factor from the other locations

 

Just got to the Furibundus system and picked up the new overseer archetype as my second. I took the cyber raven because I can't ever not play a psyker. I'm also playing with a mod that adds an force lightning casters to the game and it's a bit overpowered even with the difficulty turned way up.
