Dereth Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I was thinking along the lines of a return of the DS Revan, who's theme song would be "Back in Black" by AC/DC. I could see that working actually.
Quiquag Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 Thats a horrible idea...Im not sure what the music is that you suggest, but Im sure it's crap if it's not classical music.
Adria Teksuni Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 This is all joking at this point, no serious intent behind the suggestions whatsoever. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
Shneider Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 John Williams boring...? The man is probably one of the greatest minds in the industry. I can think of numerous bad things to say to the author of this but I have decided to place those things in a small box where all bad thoughts go. Seriously though, without the distinct Star Wars soundtrack, Star Wars would be nothing. Recall the backlash when one of those poppinjay teen-angst boy-bands was announced to be in The Phantom Menace? Those of you who entertain such notions, bite your tongues before speaking.
Adria Teksuni Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 And again...this is all tongue-in-cheek, NOT serious. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 people are so uptight and ignorant these days...
Child of Flame Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 Well, what with these new 'suggestions'; I propose that they have Fade to Black by Metallica playing for the Dark Side ending credits. I think, joking aside, that would actually fit it quite well. Life it seems, will fade away Drifting further every day Getting lost within myself Nothing matters no one else I have lost the will to live Simply nothing more to give There is nothing more for me Need the end to set me free Things are not what they used to be Missing one inside of me Deathly lost, this can't be real Cannot stand this hell I feel Emptiness is filing me To the point of agony Growing darkness taking dawn I was me, but now He's gone No one but me can save myself, but it to late Now I can't think, think why I should even try Yesterday seems as though it never existed Death Greets me warm, now I will just say good-bye Would that not complement the disparate hopelessness of the Dark Side, eventually leading up to death at the hands of the apprentice? No?
Adria Teksuni Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 LOL, I saw "Fade to Black" for some reason thought "Paint it Black". Woohoo! A Apocalypse Now/KoTOR Crossover! The bad guy and Dennis Hopper can go get hopped up on spice together! Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
Meshugger Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I sure do like to listen to bands like Opeth, Slayer or Meshuggah. But having those bands sound in a Star Wars game? Sheesh. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Zahadome Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I don't think "Rock-jedi" would be that bad of an idea Now Wookierap that would be something :D
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 For a little confused jedi out there: Big Crash by Less Than Jake Sometimes, I think something is wrong with me because, I was never one, to believe in anyone or anything. Its always been just me. Its always been just. And you know, they've always had, always had big plans for you. Just to walk you through and cloud your views. Woah-oh-ho. And I'll never say, Everythings OK. Don't wanna say that you're giving up right now. Just hold your ground, and don't give up, in what you believe. Big plans. Big crash. Why be different, when you can't be yourself. Big plans. Big crash. Why be different, when you can't be yourself. random evil guy Posted May 28, 2004 Author Posted May 28, 2004 And again...this is all tongue-in-cheek, NOT serious. some people just don't get it... :D "OOOOOHH, she's a little runaway!!!!"(bon jovi's runaway) when describing a female revan....(revan has disappeared). B)
random evil guy Posted May 28, 2004 Author Posted May 28, 2004 And again...this is all tongue-in-cheek, NOT serious. some people just don't get it... :D "OOOOOHH, she's a little runaway!!!!"(bon jovi's runaway) when describing a female revan....(revan has disappeared). B) or maybe slaughtering loads of sith to the sounds of dandy warhols' "get off". i sure get off....
Gorth Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I could imagine that swoopracing would benefit from Ac/Dc's "Highway to Hell" as background music. “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I could imagine that swoopracing would benefit from Ac/Dc's "Highway to Hell" as background music. I must agree, but we need to include some Styx in here, especially Renegade...
jaguars4ever Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 (Revan on the Starforge) Darth Malak: "Once again, we will engage in mortal combat an-" *commences with New Darth Malak Theme*
Adria Teksuni Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 ROFL!!! "Ball of Confusion" would fit in somewhere quite nicely at some point as well, most likely. Can we opt out lyrics of "911 is a Joke" and replace them with "The Light Side is a Joke" for all the dark siders out there? Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
Enoch Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Or, of course, the return of a LS Revan, who's theme would be "Blinded By the Light" by Manfred Mann(sp?). Egad, no! That recording is an insipid cover of an excellent Bruce Springsteen original. And anyway, we all know that the LS theme should be On the Sunny Side of the Street.
Adria Teksuni Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Someone from my site suggested "Bright Side of Life" from Life of Brian. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
jaguars4ever Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Life of Brian. Then you'll need "Blasphemous Rumours" by Depeche Mode.
Adria Teksuni Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Hmmm...the chorus, anyways. Heh, and the Selkath can sing "People are People" By the time they get through the first verse, the Sith will have bombed them into nonexistance. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
jaguars4ever Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Heh, and the Selkath can sing "People are People" I'd go for "Fish Heads" by Barnes and Barnes. ^_^
