...something "better than a movie"?

preferably porn, then at least we'd have a reason to come here every now and then, you know, to browse some porn, no?

Lois: Honey, what do you say we uh...christen these new sheets, huh?

Peter: Why Lois Griffin, you naughty girl.

Lois: Hehehe...that's me.

Peter: You dirty hustler.

Lois: Hehehehe...

Peter: You filthy, stinky prostitute.

Lois: Aha, ok I get it...

Peter: You foul, venereal disease carrying, street walking whore.

Lois: Alright, that's enough!

As long is not Chris is his shorts ...

Actually, this is a pretty good idea. Like, releasing two or three screenshots each wednesday, just for the forum community.

why wednesday?

Because wednesday is the middle of a lot of peoples school or work weeks and you want something to look forward to.

It's arbitrary.

The point is to have a fan appreciation day.

I think it's a good idea. Start with dev diaries, and move on to screenshots/concept art/movies.

why wednesday?

Bioware has 'Bioware Wednesdays.' He's just copying the suggestion off of them.

I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you

But I get the feeling that you don't like it

What's with all the screaming?

You like monkeys, you like ponies

Maybe you don't like monsters so much

Maybe I used too many monkeys

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?

yeah, wednesday, that really gets me excited! i run to my comp and turn on biowares thing so i can read about their crappy games cause there isnt any new kotor news from them

jk

anyway, it would be sort of stupid to release new stuff every week, i mean, it would seem good for us, but for the guys making the game, it might slow them down cause they gotta take screens every week to present for their wednesday/friday/sunday/whatever day. maybe a monthly thing would be better

why wednesday?

Because tomorrow's Wednesday, and it give the devs time to come up with something to post. ;)

A bone here. A bone there. That's all we ask... Now, what we demand. That's a whole 'nother story.

"When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.

Man, I'm dying for more info on this game. This idea seems great, we still have 9 months to go before the game is release and I would love to have updates every week.

Hopefully the Devs will agree to this.

Yeah, I don't think they'll give in to the "Full disclosure" demand...

Dammit.

Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.

I don't demand Full Disclosure.

I demand a playable demo, yesterday.

:p

Well, they had one yesterday.

Just not for those who didn't go to E3. :p

I'd rather not be bombarded with spoilers...

Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (

So far, we've had screenshots, concept art, and videos without revealing the plot.

A few dev diaries can't hurt.

Screenshots = Framed truth

Dev Diaries = Well, we'd love to do this but we must also realise we can't go too far or we'll do that and that will be bad, but we also can't pursue the other path because its not what we want, so we'll find a balance. Oh, we also hope to learn from [name great game] and do more of this, but of course in the framework of our own game...

you'd rather have "dev diaries" than porn? I don't think so...

In all fairness, I already have porn. I don't have info on KOTOR:TSL.

I don't see what porn has to do with The Sith Lords anyway?

[Porn is available all over the net if you really need it that badly...I for one am more interested in Kotor 2 info]

To be honest, I've never seen the appeal of Designer Diaries or screenshots. I want to play the game; looking at a picture of it or listening to someone talk about making it is pointless. You might as well go to a restaurant and have the cook regularly send you photos of your cooking dinner, as well as a status report of what he's doing next.

I guess I've never looked at it that way before. <_<

We would all rather play the game, but since it's not ready yet we'll just have to do with info about it.I prefer that over hearing nothing at all about the game until February 2005. It kind of "eases" the waiting period, I think.

With that aspect, you're sitting in the restaurant right now, discussing whether or not it will taste good when it's served, what seasoning the chef should use and so on.

I want to read about the progress, the stuff that goes wrong, stuff that works like a charm.

I guess that's just me being a programmer with a passion for games.

 I'm not really sure. I don't care one way or the other. I would like KOTOR 2 itself more than screenshots, as I'm sure we all do.
