bringingyouthefuture Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I am still staying out of the spoiler sections but curious how people liked the last DLC? No spoilers but how is it?? I have been too busy to dig into myself lately but should be heading there shortly “How do you 'accidentally' kill a nobleman in his own mansion?" "With a knife in the chest. Or, rather, a pair of knives in the chest...” The Final Empire, Mistborn Trilogy
Pus-in-Boots Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 It is pretty close to the Beast of Winter quality-wise. It's worth it.
house2fly Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 It's good stuff! Good lore, good fights (well also one or two which I HATED because they kept summoning enemies, but good setups at least) and some entertaining characters. The effects it has on the end of the game could be, heh, earth-shattering
InsaneCommander Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I really liked it. Good maps, story and battles. Even the pets are cool.
wanderon Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I forgot! Nomadic Wayfarer of the Obsidian Order Not all those that wander are lost...
Wormerine Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Tis gut. Really nice dungeon, enjoyable narrative, some cool locations, bosses and lore drops. 1
anameforobsidian Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 It's my favorite by far. Better writing and better pacing, fun new characters, and the dungeon is really good. 1
Starwars Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I thought they went overboard with "lulzy" humor in some parts of it but other than that I mostly enjoyed it. 1 Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
Purudaya Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 I preferred Beast of Winter narratively, but FS is pretty close in terms of level design. I do wish Tayn offered a quest resolution option that wasn't so obviously insane, however - the player basically has to choose Llengrath's solution unless they're RPing an outright maniac. The main quest has lots of interesting resolutions though, one in particular that allows you to significantly impact the endgame. If you like dungeoneering, it's a lot of fun.
MotelOK Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 I liked it. The conclusion and the end and the choices offered are pretty wild. I was tempted to make some.... irrational decisions, but level heads prevailed. Great DLC IMO.
