Hey does anyone no how this works? Does it do a short stun? Wonder how long

Also does it work with driving flight? Eg it will concuss two people?

Also wonder if it will work with frostseeker bow ( more bounces) and driving flight?

That would be pretty cool chain stunning battlefields

It's not a stun, it is an interrupt, so it will cancel moves that are being channeled and cause a slight bump in recovery.

It also doesn't work with driving flight. Only the first target will be hit. This is probably to prevent the situation that you just described.

Don't let that dissuade you from the move, though. Its upgrade, concussive tranquilizer, is easily one of the best moves in the game from my experience with it. The ability to cut 30 seconds off of all beneficial effects currently on the target can make some fights much easier to handle. (It works on bosses and those annoying priests that spam minor avatar)

Im mean the really stupid thing is is that nearly all the other  classes are better at ranged attacks then the ranger

Monk gets swift strikes (haste)

Wizard gets haste (DOAM)

Rogue can apply all there afflictions on ranged attacks

Barbarians frenzy (+25% speed) + Bloodlust and blood-thirst

Chanter gets the speed chant (currently bugged at +40%)

Fighter gets the best accuracy buff, armored grace plus extra weapon spec damage

Absolutely no reason to roll a ranger apart from the deep leap build that Boerer did. Thats a bug aswell though and would make the game way to easy.

Rangers have alot of accuracy stacking abilities but you dont need that much accuracy.  You also have to position the pet to get most of the accuracy buffs which is a pretty significant downside.

Even driving flight is reduced damage on hit and you cant proc afflictions with it you are saying ? Thats insane

You can proc weapon abilities and modals, but not skills/spells with driving flight. Driving flight and the Spearcaster or another arbalest+modal= Enemy pinball

Yeah i know how you feel, IMO ranger's are watered down rogues, compare there attack skills, hobbled shot is pretty much the better version of wound shot, you even have a choice to upgrade wound shot to hobbled shot, and look at the final ranger skill... It's rogues stealth, except it includes your pet and heals you over 30 seconds.. So you have to wait 30 seconds to do nothing. Only difference is you have a pet that easily gets one shotted, and gives you an accuracy debuff.

Yeah, absolutely no reason.... except for 2x number of ranged attacks with Driving Flight (or 4x on pure Ranger with Twinned Arrow). Some +25 Accuracy vs chosen targets at range, +35 vs chosen blooded targets, +45/55  Accuracy with Accurate Wounding Shot vs chosen targets. Yeah, Rangers really have nothing....

Yeah ive been having a look at the rangers concussive tranq?

Yeah it really really powerful. Its easy to overlook it because you need a pretty deep understanding of how the game mechanics work to really appreciate how powerful it is. They get no save and all beneficial effects have there time reduced for 30 seconds.

Does anyone no if it stacks with itself? eg you can keep firing and reduce all beneficial effects?

It reduces enemies' buffs by 30 secs. If some very long buff is still active after that and you use Tranquilizer again it will again substract 30 sec - you can repeat until no buffs are left.

As I explained to you (in the build thread) the Deap Leap is not a bug. Everything works as intended but the synergies make it (maybe too) powerful.

I think ranger is a very solid class. Like in PoE accuracy is King. Even more so in Deadfire because the afflictons don't lower defenses as much as in PoE. And the ranger is the undisputed king of accuracy in Deadfire. That might feel boring but it's def. not bad.

If you use it with rod+Blast, hand mortars or Minor Blights it's ridiculously powerful because it works in an AoE (last time I used it). Way better than Arcane Dampener, also faster, more accurate and cheaper.

I'm not 100% sure that it doesn't work with Driving Flight a well... other afflictions do. Wounding Shot does not. I wound test this again to be sure if nothing has changed since 2.0.
