This is off topic and I apologize, but I have to say this, I don't know why Fionavar keeps starting up these threads. Maybe its so all the K3 people have one central place to talk as much as they want to in hopes that their chatter will be useful and not clutter up the whole board. Alright, I want HK-47 back, some new proper good looking male heads (models) and a complete story.

Oh God! I've been reading these forums for so long. Frankly, I'm getting a bit pissed off at all of this. Random things 1. I would realllyyy wish that someone would atleast announce the project. 2. Maybe George Lucas thinks that KotOR has a better story compared to his original trilogy, so he's holding back on making the game. In which case, just go ahead and announce the the game will not be made anytime soon. All of the people who post here are just setting yourselves up for a fall, you're thinking about all the things that should be in KotOR 3 which probably won't make it into the final game (if released) When that happens a lot of you will be pissed off and disappointed at the developers and then you lot will go ahead and post another 38 page thread on why KotOR 3 sucks. I personally think that if you want to really enjoy a game, don't get too involved with it before it gets released. Oh man If I seem drunk its because I'm not, I'm sick/ill and I hate it

I would like to see a longer game. Longer than KotOR-2 anyway. More choices when it comes to charachter faces at the start of the game (both male and female) The other day I was shopping and I started humming this theme...it just came out of nowhere and I couldn't place where I heard it before. It was the theme that played at the start of KotOR-1 (during charachter creation) KotOR-1 had memorable music that really stuck with me, I really liked the Jedi theme in KotOR-2 as well, would be great if the same trend continued for K3. Many people have posted this already, some things were much better in part 1 compared to part 2, it would be nice if those things came back (long list of random small things which most people have already posted) I felt out of touch with the influence system, sure it was nice and new, but if you take up a FAQ and check it out, there are very few options to actually influence your party members in the game, seems like you have to do things flawlessly to get them all on your side at 100%. There is definately room for improvement in the Influence area. I am a Jedi Knight and I do horrible things to make some members of my team appreciate my evil deeds and fall to the light...seems a bit off. The control system for K1 and K2 was incredibly easy to use, would be nice if that was refined to become even better. If you're gonna introduce romance in the story, then it should be done properly, I don't mean pressing the muckus covered body parts together, but it should atleast seem a bit real. I guess that's it, oh and one thing I want more than anything else...an announcement for KotOR-3

you're thought of the game as too much action oriented, what I'm saying is that this was never comparable to a FPS in which you fight through hordes of battles to face bastila and then revan. the game was pretty good in my opinion, they just needed to polish off some stuff. Hopefully K3 will be great

I would like to see where Light-Side Revan went off to and you should communicate with Revan, one of the two, Revan or the Exile has to be a male and the other female, no romance between the two but still some interesting storyline on how Revan is trying to defeat the ultimate Sith threat that is more than just Soldiers in uniform and a few dark jedi.

I want to play as Revan, Revan has to remain LS PLEASE! Is this the end for KotOR? the best RPG on the PC+Xbox or will the Revan Saga end? I hate Trilogies, why can't you have triple trilogies instead...

I found that force points recharge very slowly in that cave, but when you come across a test, it fully charges up, leading me to believe that this is intentional behavior.

being a jedi master does not make one a member of the council. however being a member of the council makes a jedi a master. master quatra wass not necessarily a council member

The next KotOR game will be titled...KotOR360: Putting the Sith in their Place! The player will supposedly start in a room with a computer console and a box of earlier KotOR games on the desk, objective 1 will be to either play or destroy the games, however if you choose to play them you will have to download the patch first, and to do that you will have to run to the other side of the space station that you are in and get on the lond distance comm device and call the Corusant DT Sat Relay # 44 team 3 so that they can link you up with XT3DSl so you can get the patch. The game will then proceed as you talk to Revan about his/her journey and how they got stuck on this space station with you and then you will be served tea after which you will be given a lightsaber and your charachter will accidently kill him/herself with the lightsaber and as your char's body falls to the ground in two pieces you will be shown a slide that says, "The Sith have not been defeated, stay tuned for patch 1.1a which will be out VERY SOON" After the credits roll the following words will appear on the screen "KotOR4: How to cut sushi with a lightsaber" The game will ship on 12 cds so the space station and the "room" will be in ultra hi-res textures. The intro movie will be uncompressed and will be 4.2gb in size, duraction will be 2 mins and 42 seconds. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

the game has a builtin key for taking screenshots its one of the function keys, no need to edit anything. just try all the function keys and the printscreen key one of those will throw a file in the kotor2 directory.

I'm not a regular poster on this board but I must say that either OE & LA don't care about the fans or they are simply not listening. Their hasn't been a post by anyone indicating if they are going to support KotOR2 anymore or not.

the first patch was 1.0a and was the update that had that new shiny manual pdf file in it (some corrections in the fine print I guess which probably states that our souls now belong to LA + OE)

I think they went with the cutscenes because recently the game Vampire Bloodlines had problems with ingame cutscenes with other npcs getting inthe way during a sripted event. (fixed ina patch) Could be that Obsidian faced somewhat similar problems and wanted to ensure scene quality by using bik files. Or they just wanted the cutscenes accessible again through the movies option and thought that this was the only way to do it.
