  1. But is Silent Storm a RPG? It is a Turnbased Strategy Game. A real-time variation of it wouldn't be Diablo or Kotor but a Commando's... Now tell me how Commando's is a RPG... EDIT: Real-time and real-life are 2 different things
  2. You can't leave? What is the message given when trying to exit through the hole in the romp where you came from?
  3. I haven't posted my vote yet: Sasha beats all of these "spelling wonders"
  4. OMG *jealous at Commissar*
  5. I didn't thought it still does that in Kotor2...
  6. If they really restore everything Nihilus would probably arive on Peragus II to do his stuff and bring his Sith Troops... (Note how there is no living human beings except for Kreia/Atton/You on Peragus untill that sequence???)
  7. Time for the thread starter to get a spanking... Follow me
  8. See if "Next character" gives any results... If not, no way to get it back except if you have a program that makes a copy (or the actual file) of all deleted files (so not like the normal bin only what explorer deletes)... And if you really have to restart remember what the loading screens say too; save often and in different slots. There are some game/quest-stopping bugs in the game and 1 save would force a complete restart then...
  9. 1) Thanks 2) Could be yes. I usually finish off the Red Eclipse as last thing I do on Nar Shaddaa (free roam area)... That could be why in 3 play-throughs I always had it then...
  10. Well, like said before: In the room where you found the exile there should be a console. Use it... Then go to the bridge (see mini-map for the note), there use that program you found (NOTE: You CANNOT use this program in any other console on the ship) and use the "Shut down" program on the Power supply... (Note; the turrets code should be found pretty soon inside a droid inside a force fielded prison and is not needed to escape the ship)
  11. I am not really sure what you talk about. There is no "Boss" on GO-TO's Yacht... The Northern sealed doors (do they look like the doors at the starting point?) never open... (atleast if you mean what I think you do) All turrets in the ship can be shut down. Same with the droids. You just need to find the programs. Did you already find the Exile? Do you mean the turrets in the room before him...?
  12. Nope. But that's why he has scapegoats to do it...
  13. In the room where you found the exile use the console. Take what you find to the bridge... upload it there, then run the shutdown program on it and run like hell...
  14. They display the current Force Powers cast on a character (with a few excluded due to bugs " ) EDIT: And the use of stims ofcourse (forgot them since they are never needed)
  15. The % of good games on PC is higher than for any console... Anyways, there are alot of genres that NEVER can get on a console and work correct, like RTS, FPS or the Best Type of Adventure (point and click)... No, no, sure I will die... just not today or in the near future anyway...
  16. Maybe I do, but if DX:IW was made for PC only I am certain that it would be a lot better. The only good console game (Grand Theft Auto) was made popular due to PC gamers (GTA first came for us, and sold more) Then GTA2 came. They had to "downgrade" the PSX version because it wasn't powerfull enough to run it... And then they (Sony) just stole one of our series <_< bij making it a PS2 exclusive for 1/2 year before the PC-gamers could get it... Another extra reason to hate consoles, they right away steal good stuff that can be made for the PC..., and don't tell me the 3D GTA's wouldn't be better if created for PC exclusively...
  17. You can also say "He wanted to dumb down DX for the *gamer* even though there was nothing wrong with DX (see the many people thinking it is the best game ever, or near there)"
  18. Not that you ever need them (even as Guardian) And +3 wis gives additional DC to the Powers, and a AC to your char if Male... "
  19. If you *still* really want to know repost in WoT (Man, we really need a "Star Wars, non-Kotor2" forum here...)
  20. Nope. It is the way it is because it was made for X-Box AND PC in the same progress (same code for both versions)... Since it used crappy X-Box standards for this (there is no other way, eh, if you create for both. You need to take the weakest as target), with low amount of controls and no longer a mouse used HUD like in DX this mess came. The small maps where due to the engine yes. An engine optimised for X-Box. Common Ammo is a decision of the creators yes, but does show that creators "dumb down" for their audience... "Dumbing down" is completely irrelevant of technical hardware available anyways, so I don't see your point of "you blame ammo on X-Box tech", I don't... They created DX. How can you say they are bad dev. They just had to manufacture for a crappy system... No, the reason that DX:IW doesn't have a "skill system" was because DX interface was "too difficult" for the *gamer* and they had to dumb it down for him to a more managable system (shooting at max. right away... missing would be awfull if it was due to PC's bad skill and not your bad skill, no?)... Now if that ain't "dumbing down" I don't know what is... Yes. Engine limited map sizes. And like said before, DX:IW was made for both at the same time, so no, there was no option for bigger maps etc.
  21. On "dumbing down" Play Deus Ex Play Deus Ex Invisible War Do I Have To Say More? On "no inovation for PC" See Psychonauts (sp?), Darwania or Majesty (don't expect it from the big companies like EA etc., but the smaller do produce them...) Yes...
  22. 1) What happened to your avatar 2) You need to kill the Red Eclipse for the Exchange to find you. The Red Eclipse is always triggered when leaving the Refugee sector (no need for Exchange influence/hate here, it would be handy though...). After you kill the Red Eclipse you can be contacted, and since the last part of the fight is inside the Ebon Hawk, it would be logical for the cutscene to play at the Hawk... unless you know a fast way out of the Hawk into the Refugee sector I don't know...
  23. Taris- This race was very boring...just meant for learning Swoop racing Tatooine- This one never worked for me on my PC, so I can't tell besides I totally hate that bug that caused a sub-mission to be forever stuck in my journal Manaan- Best swoop track of Kotor Now, in general, KOTOR2 swoop-racing was alot worse than swoop racing in kotor1... but track-specific: Telos- Total Suckage. Don't know if it was because of the bugs, but I totally hate this one Nar Shaddaa- Suckage. Besides the fact that this track is WAY too easy to win (crashing 20 times and you still win ) the opposite riders, vents and such were not alot of fun... A well, only needed once; no need to drive good (hell, I couldn't even loose it the one time I tried to) did cause a fast amount of credits... Onderon- Best one of Kotor2. A spefic mine planted on a point where the game always stuttered did cause alot of irritation, as was the "missing of jump pads when you hit them dead-on" bug that was happening here very often...
  24. Depends if you mean the company (profit), the employees (loan) or how many % of game price for every sold copy in the stores gets the dev... So, which do you mean? And yes, Kotor2 is the first and only game. For other games made by (mostly the same) crew search for Black Isle...
