  1. Note the "very viable". Besides that specs sky-rocket much faster these days than they did 3 years or so ago... and thus PC's become obsolete faster and faster. With the current Max. of technology it is impossible to keep playing 5 years forward without any update...
  2. Uhm, how to explain the "remaining of Malachor V" than?
  3. Guess so... hard discussing when you are on ignore
  4. NEVER get the latest card... you can easily save yourself $200 by buying a less modern one and then replace it a few years later when it actually has become obsolete... and there are 10 new releases since...
  5. I've hit plenty of weird looking bugs; Doors that aren't there but still there 10+ soldiers who were all spawned on a single location The well known "no longer invisible invisible bounty hunters on Nar Shaddaa" Two-heads on the exile (nic patch ... art issue fixed? ... art issue added! <_< ) And more, just click the "amusing glitches" link in my sig... or search for a similar named topic in the spoilers section...
  6. Open SWKotor2.ini, add in the line EnableCheats=1 beneath [Game options] In the game use the ~ key and type the codes (note the console is invisible, so you have to type blind) Edit: wrong code for the ini file :">
  7. All besides the first give "Access denied" Is it supposed to be the first pic looks like Atton?
  8. Gaby? And a bedroom? And that can be both found in a single post? Wow, how
  9. <_< Can't respond on the Fallout example (never played Fallout) but if it is just 10% extra if you hit the head I cannot see the gameplay change if it is removed... There are many times removing or adding features don't mean jackass for the gameplay. ESPECIALLY if said "features" are not commonly used anyway. Tweaking of your car in a racing game removed; no gameplay difference Removing of a health/mana bar at your char in a RPG: No gameplay difference (if shown elsewhere) Removing of "new items" tab: No gameplay difference Removing of mini-games: No gameplay difference Etc. etc. etc. But since we never will agree; let's start discussing about the definition of "feature"... as you seem to think a game exists out of XXX features and it is as simple as adding/removing features as to make a good game...
  10. I do. Just not your twisted version of it... Mr. Doom plays like DX Adding features does not automatically causes different gameplay. Your problem is that you truelly believe this and twist anything you see to make it "more features is other gameplay" Let me tell you 8+8/2 is the exact same as 8+8+8/3 or 8+8+8+8/4... and thus gameplay does not changes. The amount does NOT matter on the gameplay. Oh, and how about "altering storyline (NO feature!!!) or alter existing gameplaystuff (NO features!!!). OMG! Gameplay changes without features!
  11. He was already trialled... Anyways... we surely clean house here in the Hague... second War-Criminal dead within this week...
  12. Then the gameplay would change if you add a movable rock on the road of a racing game... No freakin' way... EDIT; and who want's to half-read own stuff;
  13. The definition mentions that gameplay is the total of all features. If the new features do NOT add anything to the total gameplay stays the same. With your "definition" gameplay changes if you add in an extra shader or shadows or whatever other meaningless little thingie... Note the word CORE MECHANICS not GAMEPLAY MECHANICS. Can you really no longer read your own post. Yes. You said CORE MECHANICS. But you also said "feel totally different to play"... meaning sperating the two as it are different things... while by your "definition" and the site you got it off this is one and the same... Says the person who thinks the gameplay as Rambo Deus Ex'er is the same as the gameplay as Rambo Doom3'er EDIT: Triple-posted :"> Posts merged...
  14. If all that gives the same feel as the previous game... then NO <_<
  15. Results: As you might have expected... I choose the second (bolded) definition... The only one found in a dictionary (reliable) instead of an alter-able (unreliable) site... EDIT; Even funnier... note what your page has to say; And you try so hard to defend the difference between mechanics and gameplay
  16. Tell me where you found your nicely "universal agreed" definition (which I totally do not agree with)...
  17. You even missed the first line "There is no definition"... this is as small as any definition will go...
  18. Here is a "definition" of gameplay... as you seem to think your single line adds it all up and is the instant truth... I haven't read all of it myself... but feel free to find anything that proves me wrong and you right...
