  1. I thought that Elrond is referring to recent incidents in India where elements of the government seem to want to marginalize the muslim population (including trying to change historical fact, like who created the Taj Mahal), but I could be wrong.
  2. Feel free to dismiss me as a TBI effected individual, but I have trouble discussing your point because I don't understand your point. My point in posting is that you seem to feel very strongly about this subject, but have couched the links you provide in such hyperbole that I cannot fathom what you are trying to say and why you keep bringing it up. You seem strongly...something - miffed? bemused? exasperated? - I don't know. I don't get it, and I don't get why you're passionate about it. I tried to use the qq jargon in an attempt to communicate with you as it seems like the vast majority of your posts are using net-lingo like that and that this issue has connected to you in some deep way that I don't understand. Obviously this method failed. So about your link, numbers fluctuate in the aftermath of any kind of event, much less a mass event. Depending on how the Pentagon is categorizing TBI's it could range from "was close enough to an explosion to have received injury from a shock wave to the brain" to "gave self concussion trying to exit the shower when the alarm went off" meaning that the raw numbers are, somewhat meaningless. Assuming that everyone who was injured was injured in ways that weren't directly related to the missile strikes, but to mishap in scrambling for cover, etc. then I don't see a discrepancy between the initial statements, including Trump's, and the reality. YMMV as I don't get why you're hung up on these news upated and obviously, politicians are going politic regarding anyone saying something that can be spun in a way to look untrue so that has to be contextualized as well.
  3. TBI's include concussions. You can give yourself a concussion by accidentally bopping your head on a bed-post or by walking into a low hanging door facing without stooping enough.
  4. Maybe because the character of Deadpool lampshades the ludicrous elements by breaking the 4th wall?
  5. I didnt say you were qq-ing over their TBI but qq-ing over the updating of the numbers. Someone has some reading comprehension difficulties, and I'm not convinced it is me. Anyhow, all I'm saying is I find your weird obsession with this, well, weird.
  6. Hobbes and Shaw. It was as gloriously ridiculous as the trailers implied it's be.
  7. For someone who complains a lot about people going qq over stuff, you sure are spending a lot of time going qq over this everytime they update the numbers.
  8. This forum is for players to assist each other with technical questions. While developers may visit the forums and log issues, it is recommended to contact support directly on issues - https://support.obsidian.net/
  9. Not sure anyone here can help you with that, but we'll see. I know a few people here played the game. You might want to post your issue inXile's forums as there may be more help there as they developed the game. https://forums.inxile-entertainment.com/
  10. Just to clarify, he was impeached, he wasn't convicted by the Senate on the articles of impeachment. He joins Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton in that respect.
  11. Psychologist again have it in for sci-fi fans.
  12. Given that it was never made an issue of in his lifetime, I'm not sure what they could have done to address it.
  13. Needful Things was in Maine. Until it moved to Iowa and re-opened as Answered Prayers.
  14. I can't read the article, so can't comment on it.
  15. Where does he insinuate that she wasn't proud of the scholarship or that she was lying? My understanding of Gromnir's post was that Trump had said she was getting a scholarship and moving to a charter school, not her, so the "background check" would be on his claims, not hers.
  16. The Bible says that Seth and Cain had children - they had to have children from somewhere, even though I don't think the biblical geneologies list their wives (I should add that IIRC the bible indicates that Adam and Eve had other un-named sons and daughters, so its theoretically supposed to be assumed that Seth and Cain's wives were also their sisters - I'm not a biblical scholar; IIRC the apocryphal tales of Lilith indicate there were 'demons' outside of Eden, so its possible that Seth and Cain's wives were from that group as well). Theoretically the millions of years of evolution could have happened in one day as God created (and would therefore control) time, so theoretically you can reconcile creationism and evolution if you really want to.
  17. Cain and Seth had to get it on with somebody? Also, same for Lilith if we count apocrypha... The intervention of a divine being for creationism to work means that nothing is theoretically impossible. Seth had children, as did Cain, they didn't have children with Eve, so there had to be other women able to bear children with them created by God; time is irrelevant since its created by God, etc.
  18. Maybe its the mysterious extinct species' relatives trying to find out if the mating worked sending the FRB?
  19. What happens if the entire Federal Government resigns in protest of itself? ... ... ... Do we win?
  20. You can home charge. AFAIK, they recommend a Wall Connector be installed for best results, but they have a NEMA connector as well.
  21. For all intents and purposes sci fi games and fantasy games seem to be the same thing if you remove the cosmetics.
  22. Its probably also fair to point out that the best performing superhero films have been the ones which feel authentic to the characters - even when there are changes. WB's DC film slate has taken a lot of brickbats for its lack of fidelity in particular with the Zack Snyder verse. That's important as Birds of Prey had never had any real connection with Harley (in the comics) until the film was announced, that the Birds of Prey as a team was missing a key founder in Batgirl/Oracle, and that Cassandra Cain in the film is so different from the comics character that it was really just a new character using an old name. That it followed-up the divisive (but highly profitable and Oscar winning) Suicide Squad probably didn't help, particularly since I think - for those who didn't like Suicide Squad - the marketing for BoPatFEoOHQ was highly reminiscent of the Suicide Squad marketing (well more like if the Suicide Squad marketing had a baby with the Deadpool marketing).
