It would be especially nice if maybe the thread starters could get notification of why their threads were deleted. The last two threads I started were deleted without any warning or notification, which quite frankly is rather rude.

To be honest, no, I'd rather not. Monday is not a good day for me. I'd much prefer that everyone got their moves into me as soon as possible. I understand that sometimes getting the moves in on time can be hard (or one can forget entirely), but NMRs can't always be avoided in those situations. Of course, I can't really adjudicate unless I get orders in, and so far I've only recieved one set. The best I can really do is Sunday evening.
