  1. This one http://www.sshock2.com/bioshock/previews/ Didnt take long to read. Think I saw one of Hades relatives over there too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ZylonBane, I presume? TTLG is full of various kinds of trollers and nutjobs. Which isn't surprising, as the community is almost a decade old already. I'm a regular there.

As much as I disagree with you Lawman, I need to address this: Do we really need new members?
  3. I'm seething with anticipation, to say the least.
  4. Heh, sounds quite b-movieish, indeed. But so did System Shocks premise and plot. I'm sure Irrational can pull it off. They didn't mess up SS2, so I doubt they mess this.
  5. No, think of it as SS2 in an ecosystem. You're a human who must adapt in to an alien world, by changing himself with the biomaterial found in it's various creatures. The premise is that an ex-nazi bunker is uncovered and the researhers find that it's been used as a testing ground for various 'enhanced' species, but somewhere on the way the sh!t hit the fan and the beasties conquered the bunker. Now, thanks to speeded evolution and highly-adaptable genome, it's buzzing with new life and the protagonists is thrown in the middle of it unaware. Your mission is to survive and that's done by examining the food chain and, in a sense, trying to live in the world. Of course, as it's SS, lots of high tech and guns are involved.
  6. Ah, pointless threads. Always a pleasure.

The 4 first ones can easily fit to WoT, with designated threads if needed. Though, we'd spa...purge them of relevant talk no matter what. Ain't that the truth, pixies? A forum for serious talk on the other hand; we'll it's a good idea in sense, but so far WoT is enough for that. And p'n'p-section to some extent.
  8. What do we learn from all of this? F5 for the win.
  9. Spider, I meant Revan. I just don't usually quote. Sorry. Revan, I agree with you. That's why Ultimate was made.
  10. Are you mixing this with one of the other encounters with Apocalypse?
  11. It's an experiment with AI and communal behaviour(or so the devs say) and the player must try to fit into an ecosystem and food chain.
  12. I'm willing to bet there was a quite a bit of psycho-training, drug-infused and hypnotic re-"habitation" involved. Not to mention good ol'En Sabah Nur having telepaths on his disposal.
  13. The website at this point is not worth linking yet, but you will hear about it in the near future. Mark my words.
  14. Disciple casts Ultima(DC 42) Nihilus is hit! Nihilus takes 1239 points of non-elemental damage Nihilus: Dead
  15. Heretics! Go for blue. It's the only way.
  16. Nile - Smashing the Antiu Wednesday is Nile day.
  17. Oh yeah; BIOSHOCK. Almost forgot Looking Glass's legacy. What kind of fanatic am I? I bought my Rome for 30 euros: dirty cheap. Though I have yet to play it.
  18. I'm too excited for my own good about XII. I don't even own a PS2 :D
  19. ^That, especially the bread variety. But games; there are quite a few: NWN2 Winter Assault POP3 Severance Hostile Waters HOMM 5 Gothic 3 Project Offset PNJ Aftershock Mark of Chaos Supreme Commander Grim Fandango Return to Krondor Quest for Glory 5 Disciples 2+Rise of the Elves FFXII Oblivion etcetera, ad naseum... A thing to note here; even though I'm planning to get all of those, that doesn't mean I will end up buyin or even acquiring them soon. If at all. The only thing I'm really waiting for is Gothic 3. And that's the only one I will buy right when it hits the stores. I'm a fanboy like that.
  20. Put points in wisdom too. And while 18 inteligence at the start may seem like a good choice, going with 14 and giving your character some fighting edge instead is better at the start. You'll get extra attribute points to spend as you go up in levels, so 18 isn't too far away. One neato thing; the attributes can go above and beyond 18 and the game is filled(well, not everywhere but more than in BG 2) with stat permanently-raising items. Especially if your target is Lawful Good.
  21. I just bought some Ultimate issues. I'm very interested, to say the least, how the've changed the characters.
  22. And the result was one of my old favorite characters; Marrow. Also, the whole trust issue between Remy and the group was interesting. Too bad, I missed the Massacre itself.
  23. AoA was amazing, can't remeber much of Massacre on the other hand. Was it the whole morlock/reaver thing?
