I enjoyed it. Never got around to playing the first one though...

CoD 1 was pretty much like Medal of Honor. With Russians. Don't bother.
If we hack'em off, who're going to make that utopian community you ramble about?
Edit: Does it look to you like we're(with Capn' Pants) alone here milling pretty much the same talk over various threads?
All I saw were some heated opinions, few idiots and people who just didn't know enough to reply with any merit. Pretty much the same thing what happened last time people here disagreed with Rhomal.
How you can compare fps to rpgs in beyond me, but if we go by your thinking there's also been only a notable few of "good" rpgs. Most are clickfests.
Edit: The point here was that there's only a rare few fps nowadays where you remarks "run around and shoot stuff" and "no story whatsoever" apply. Most fps of today make you think. Different thoughts than in rpgs, but thinking nevertheless. Come to think(hoh hah, a pun) of it, what was the last fps you played, Judge Hades? I want to know with what authority you call most fps mindless.
In every thread about cheats; it's always the same. People chiming in to add useless "cheaters don't prosper"-remarks. Like the folks who read and care(aka those who matter) would cheat to succeed in games.
Palpatine looked pretty corrupted when he during episode one when he wore those robes. Even teh voice was totally different. I think it's just Lucas' being inconsistent.
I like the corruption. All those ds energies can't be healthy and it sorta makes you think whether you really want that power. Strenght doesn't come free.
Then why did you play KotOR? I've never seen a more "dumbed-down" rpg system.
And how about NWN? Hack 'n slash and still you liked it.
Personally, I think you're just complaining for the sake of complaining.
