I don't dig obscure licences, more popular settings have a greater public and a better chance of happening. Nayway, Mythos was making a superhero rpg before Magic and Mayhem, too bad it was cancelled.

To Weiser: Ehmm...who says you can reach level 20 or anything near it in the campaign? The experience flow migh stagnate somewhere around 11-13 for all we know. And I wouldn't mind. There'd be plenty of leveling up, considering you have up to 4 dudes in your party.

"Fire!..." What an idea. Given that some indie group could very well make something this up, I don't see any obvious problems. Then again, why would it need to be a CP title? How about an rpg where you fight against pollution or pollute in general. Say, both sides would make it in order to survive, but they'd see each other as an abomination and there couldn't be a peaceful ending to their struggle(or could there?). Reminds me a bit of Nausicaa, actually.

Considering we start at a swamp and visit such locales as undead marshes, pirate holes, some of the biggest metropolai in the Sword Coast and probably quite a many basement; I wouldn't mind the loss of sewers at all. Fist of all, we've been there a million times, secondly they weren't really integral to any of the IE or Gold Box games either.

I found the infamous sewers very atmospheric. And about the Cradle, I think it's debatable whether it's scarier than Oceanside. Much of Cradle's scariness comes from the fact that you're a lithe burglar against an undead sentient building, and the aural scene really makes the atmoshphere(Eric Brosius FTFW). In Oceanside it's the complete opposite. It relies on visual creepiness and in-your-face stuff that really can't hurt, not to mention the player's character is a vampire.

Yeah, the whole Dragon Eye-bit was overlong and the game really was dragging when I did Ice Temple for the first time. Still my favorite hack by far.
