I think it's funny that the single most interesting new feature the game has is the human shield and what you can do with it. The funny bit is that it took so long to implement that. Not to mention knockout without sedative. I mean, how hard can it be to knock the lights out of some crook for half an hour or so? It's a logical implement.

They're freking cheap though, so I guess there's going to be bought copies sooner or later. And I can finally play ToB and finish that damn plot.

I've only played the first one till On Rails. That level was oh-so-boring and I soon stopped my playthrough, but the game was decent fun till that point. Played it much later than HL2 though. Just like I played Max Payne after the sequel. I'm eager for the Black Mesa total conversion and have yet to finish HL1 in fear of killing my interest for the mod. I want to see how they have changed Blast Pit(my favorite level), because I read about them diversifying the objectives of that level greatly on an interview. Not just fuel, air and water now.
