  1. Heroes in tights!
  2. Finntroll - Ormh
  3. Draken wins thread. Well, I'd win the thread, if I had the guts to look at the picture long enough to link it.
  4. ^Supremacy was very good, but I agree that Identity had a better pace. I watched Francois Truffaut's Fahrenheit 451 yesterday and it was great. Truffaut has terrific talent and raw skill and that's why I wasn't nearly as conscious of the freedoms the movie took from 451 story. I sort of missed the hound though. Edit: Truffaut, with t, not d. Thanks Baley.* *If I want you to nitpick, I'll ask you.
  5. Around 10 000 if I count the WOT posts. I know, I know. I had 800 posts for a long time, but this thing sort of...exploded over the fora.
  6. "Warrizt dat givz us purpose? Waa. Warrizt dat givz waa purpose? Ter vanqwish da foes o' da Bigg, bigg boss. Who are da foes o' da Bigg, bigg boss? Da 'eretic, da aliun, an da mutie. Warrizt ter be an enemy o' da Bigg, bigg boss? It iz ter be damned. Woss da instrumunt o' da Bigg, bigg boss
  7. What I meant is, that you don't need Wanda or Legion or any of the big players, just a lone Wolvie in warp. The whole killing their mothers before they were born sounds exactly like a run-off-the-mill Marvel story.
  8. Calax wins the thread. Oh, and by the by http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Warhammer_40,000 I just saw a huge opening spread commercial of Dark Crusade on my pal's White Dwarf. Now I'm even more hyped.
  9. Ya, dem humies only good fer stompin'. An'we orks, we be the meanest an'de greenest! We stomp'em good, hahhah!
  10. I think the cast of DB could purge a couple of galaxies, but all Marvel needs is a time-traveling Wolverine to axemurder their mothers, before they were born. Yeah.
  11. I never said today was the day I bring my "A" game. Besides, sometimes spam is better when slow-roasted. You can't always just microwave it. That only works with DinoBuddies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh, a man of taste. Do feel welcome.
  12. Heresy is like a tree, its roots lie in the darkness whilst its leaves wave in the sun and to those who suspect nought it has an attractive and pleasing appearance. Truly, you can prune away its brances, or even cut the tree to the ground, but it will grow up again ever the stronger and ever more comely. Yet all awhile the root grows thick and black, gnawing at the bitter soil, drawing its nourishment from the darnkess, and growing ever greater and more deeply entrenched. Such is the nature of heresy, and this is why it is so hard to destroy, for it must be eradicated leaf, branch, trunk and root. It must be exorcised utterly or it will return all the stronger, time and time again, until it is too great to destroy. Then we are doomed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oomans are pink and soft, not green and tough like da Boyz. They'z all the same size, too - No big'uns or little'uns, so they'z always arguing about who's in charge, 'cos there's no way of telling 'cept for badges an' ooniforms and fings. Annuver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of 'em wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me" or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, 'arf of 'em believe it and da over 'arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. Wot a lot of mukkin about if yer asks me. An' while they'z all argyin' wiw each other over who's da Boss, da Orks can sneak up an' clobber da lot.
  13. Ok, I might have to start saving, but Dark Crusade looks so good too! Grey Knights, Lords and Tau!
  14. The artist formerly known as Master_Revan.
  15. Thank you, Fio. I was just thinking, does anyone of you know if we start as a fighter-aligned build, or could there be a sort of "meet a prole on the beach after shiwreck and you tell him where your previous training has concentrated on, like a mage for example". Then of course you could do whatever you want after that, it wouldn't be a class choice, just some stat-redistribution from your, supposedly grand, starting reserves of points. I feel that they could pull that off and not piss anyone off. Maybe have all the stat and skill points interchangeable in your character menu on the starting area perhaps, if the fans want that. Sort of like in BG 2 you had the eight levels worth of spells and weapon skills. Although now that I think about it, they might even do the latter one.
  16. Oh damn. I was waiting for the inevitable Russia-USA Crimean war.
  17. I've never reported a post before. Feels...all kinds of dirty. Now that we are over that little chapter in the life span of this topic, could we discuss the game's awesomeness again and not the supposed lack of it? Thank you. On that note, has there been any notions on the size and the scale of the world when comparing it to the island of Khorinis? I know there's a million npcs and quests along with around triple the habitations(like villages and camps and stuff) than both Gothics had, but what about the size of the map? Anyone? Oh yeah, is there mounts? I'd kill for a camel.
  18. And boobs, don't forget boobs.
  19. AWESOME! I'm more than thankful for the added depth. Ooh, the magnamious hype juice of awesomeness is starting to flow again.
  20. I sort of miss the dread value, but I guess they might have integrated that to the chivalry value and maybe characters have set number of points they start with, sort of the medium or standard chivalry that can rise or lower.
  21. Right. I'm pretty unhyped at the moment. They should release it already, almost 3 years in the pipe is enough for a Polish action rpg. No matter how genre-redefining.
  22. It's Kaftan, that's his thing. Don't bother to take that seriously, Morgy.
  23. Yes. I think someone said the game starts by you having to fight an orc the first thing you do. Might be a rumour but it is certain that the hero is a powerful guy right from the start in Gothic 3. You will add perks to become more powerful, on top of the normal strength/dexterity advances. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For all I care, they could just make regular wildlife(like rats and wolves and bloodflys and stuff) give minimun exp, so little that it's not worth killing'em. In previous Gothic games I frequently went to the forests just to kill snappers and wolves for a couple of hours before advancing a chapter. That's not really my idea of fun and it's defintely not roleplaying. However, if the beasties are an obstacle on the way to loot/nifty dungeons then I'm all for it. I realise that the adventurous feel of Gothic is one of it's major selling points(along with the bath tub scene), but they could really tighten the gameplay by losing some of the worthless exp hunt forest bits by making visiting them not worth your time. Hunting for fur and teeth is an exception of course.
  24. Wasn't the idea that you start out as a relatively powerful force and most of the stat development comes from joining the guilds and factions, not from hackn'slash as in the previous games? Minimum grinding, so to say.
