It being real-time wasn't the problem, the battle model and the fact that their idea of difficulty was to just chuck more fast enemies at you, were the problems.- Dungeons and Dragons 4e
Yeah, but it'd be great to play a Norden system, Finnish ones are very rare and very brand, like Myrskyn Aika.- What do you know about Bob Marley, reggae, cannabis, marihuana?
"We must know more!" You go girl. Really, this is the first time a bot hasn't been commercial.- Dungeons and Dragons 4e
Could it be possible to find that outside Sweduland?- The Music Thread - Currently Listening To
I heard it's pretty much emo-rock, just with female vocals and without screamo. Is that right? T- Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade demo out
Yes, I bet a darn commie like you would like it.- Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade demo out
KILL THE MUTANT Yeah, this would make agreat setting. The amount lore, thought and, really, the love that has been spent on WH40k is just astounding. I love it to the very core.- The Music Thread - Currently Listening To
Mononoke-hime soundtrack. I REGRET NOTHING EITHER!- Just saying hi...
yeah, Ros will be about shortly, don't worry.- Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade demo out
It's true that Imperial Guard have a strong Red Army bend. I really like them, poor men with huge weapons amongst gods and demons of the cosmos made manifest. As for the Tau, it's true that they seek to spread their Greater Good by conquering all of the known galaxy under their rule, but they don't expect everyone to worship a long-dead emperor on a golden throne and die for him fighting in fanatic exterminating squads on the other side of the galaxy. Kind of a lighter bend on the whole galactic empire thing.- Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade demo out
Well, the Tau are sort of good and the Eldar aren't exactly malignant, just very prejudiced and xenophobic. Same goes for the Imperium. In game terms, if you play as the Imperial Guard, you are essentially defending civilians, so I guess they could called good.- Medieval: Total War II
I'm going to play as either Spain or Venice, or Russia and modded Mongols. It's gonna be a while before I get the game, so I guess there will be a wealth of modded stuff then.- Gone for a while
Yeah, get your mom well.- Just saying hi...
I remember you, I doubt you remember me, but we had a couple of Scandi-fights with Rosbjerg and the other northerners here. Welcome back, Ludo.- Movies You Have Seen Lately
He doesn't need to. I live in a student commune, ffs. Just change whiskey to cheap beer and bacon with tuna. It's Kurosawa night today too. This time it's "Seven Samurai".- Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel
It's a great game on it's own right that shouldn't be mixed as an rpg. Think of it as a Jagged Alliance-FF Tactics-kind of game and you'll be fine. A mix of tactical group battles in varied missions and the wealth of Fallout lore, coupled with an amazing athmosphere. Everybody who likes the setting should get it, it's hardly an rpg, much less than say BG, the ultimate hack'n'slasher, but there's plenty of other stuff than plain combat to keep you going and SPECIAL is the still one of the best systems to ever grace an rpg. Edit: Wait? Not Tactics, but BoS? That gun-ho Fallout-thing? I wouldn't bother, since it's really short and not nearly as varied as Dark Alliances were. If you want a similar, but better, game; get Shadowgrounds. Unless you really really dig the Fallout-world.- Movies You Have Seen Lately
Yojimbo, by Akira Kurosawa. Ooh, aah, woah! Awesome is a word too thin and hollow to properly laud this masterpiece. It's like a samurai wedstern, excpet that the characters don't look constantly constipated like in the trademark western movies.- Unkillable enemies discussion
And drunken vampires at best! I just got home from a bar. Luckily no werewolves this night. I got invited to birthday party next weekend. Leena-chan: "Vilma said it- Unkillable enemies discussion
Yeah, and you should know that all Helsinkians, including Kiro-kun, are vampires.- Unkillable enemies discussion
Meh, someone else can aquient you with World of Darkness-fluff.- The Comicbook thread Pt. IX
I think it was at the start of 70's in 616, after that the Hudsons found him wandering in the Canadian wilderness. In Ultimate, who knows? He had them back in the Gulf war at least. Probably earlier too.- Unkillable enemies discussion
