  1. Yes. Have plenty of meatshield companions(or homies) though.
  2. Hah. Well, of course the midwinter celebation has a different name in every culture. Christmas is just so widespread(most of it thanks to Coke) that it's easier to wedge that template in place of your traditional winter celebration. Why bother with traditions, when you can just shove your kids with gifts and faux-western food. They pick the template up in tv anyway and you have work to do ffs!
  3. Christmas has always been Christian. Now, Yule on the other hand...
  4. Mark Morgan - The Glow Cheers, Pop.
  5. Both of those are fakes, btw.
  6. If you don't think that's hilarious, there's something wrong with you.
  7. I did. So, I'm listening that same.
  8. Ravel's Bolero
  9. Metaphorically.
  10. It took me two weeks. I used it as a leverage to get myself reading for exams. Initially, the exam books actually felt way more appealing.
  11. You are right, as it often is. I never even considered how much it takes to get used to Teh Intternets, netiquette mores and all. Yeah, sorry Jy Kon. Go on.
  12. Cowboy Bebop OST 1 - Piano Black
  13. As much as an image of Son of Man can be.
  14. That's not because of esl. He shows to have the language down. He does have mispellings, but he's abusing symbols (ampersand, most specifically) and I see no glaring issues with word order. He may be esl, but that's not the origin of the issue. The run on sentence is the most problematic, something that's not particularly used in any language I've heard of. But my knowledgebase is limited for that. His mispelling of superficially shows an understanding of english phonetics, but not the actual word itself. He also uses phrases I would think to be uncommon among those who have insufficient knowledge of english "as well" "face of the earth." If esl was recognisable, there would be language transfer present, some elements that are recognisable as foreign syntax forms or perceived forms. As there's none and as the run on sentence is a pretty familiar among lazy internet people, I'd say we got a regular juvenile here, some teen who can't be bothered with correct structures.
  15. Summoning - The loud music of the sky
  16. Cool. Can I bring a chocolate sculpture of Jesus? It's state-approved.
  17. *has bad withdrawals of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time*
  18. Actually, all Fallouts and their combined releases in different compilations and collector's editions have been selling pretty steadily over the years. Nearly anyone with a PC has at least tried them. Funnily enough, besides the lable "From the makers of TES:Oblivion" the Fallout name is going to be one of the biggest sellers for this release.
  19. I liked them until the point they stopped being sewers and started being mutant-filled tunnels with dirt floors, instead of believable dirty LA sewers.
  20. 1. Atheists are fun, I guess I've learned that. 2. I have actually developed a tolerance for shadiness in politics and now act as if it is a natural part, not a exactly a vital part, but pretty irredeemable in our system. That said, both parties have their share of bad air. I used to think, way back, of Republicans as nothing but gun-toting Texans and now treat both parties as equals, so I guess you could call that change.
  21. I was thinking of picking up the Ghosts-books, at least the first omnibus, but there's so fething many of'em. I have a good friend who's all over them though and he's been recommending me at least to the spin-off Double Eagle. I might read Ravenor instead, since it's in the same "continuity" as Eisenhorn. Next, I'm trying to start translated edition of Battle Royale, though I'm a bit reserved since I haven't even seen the movie. The book was just so bloody cheap at Waterstone's.
  22. Yoko Kanno is on the musics, watch it.
  23. Damn, two and a half years is nothing. I waited five for Thief 3. Actually, I'm still waiting for Thief 3. Just don't tell that to my coven of sworn console elitists. They wouldn't like to know that I modded the heck out of the game. Now, 12 years for Duke Nukem Forever(And Ever And Ever...), over 30 to lose your virginity for most nerds, those are long waits. Bloody long. That said, how is it shaping up? I've yet to buy K2, not that I'm waiting for this project, but I could as well buy it when this comes out, it's gonna be pretty cheap in either case.
  24. I'm on. At least on Walshingham's tightness.
