Yup carth is one awsome peice of moving artillery ...next time you play try to make your own charecter like him and i swear ..you will have loads of fun....no sabers just a blaster in each hand and extreme dex..also try master speed and master power blast (or one of the other blaster feats)

Played it through two times...first time as a scout/sentinel ..and never dropped to 1 hp with my charecter..not even once in the entire game,second time though i did something fun...i made a scout/guardian using only blasters (no sabers in the entire game) set the difficulty to max and went solo all the time ..that was somewhat of a challenge

Actually the Prequels "lack off succes" (well comparied to the old trilogy) may turn out to work out to the acters benefit ..they may be less personified with the roles compared with the old trilogys acters...

The big plot twist...the Uber sith lord turns out to be (DR) Derek K Smart....oh boy ..banning you from the game and slaps a lawsuit against if you restart playing. Nobody ..i say NOBODY messes with Darth Smart.

Oh finnaly found that book ( The creative impulse (a book about the old trillogy)). Okey here goes ..Veteran writer Leigh Brackett did the first draft of Empire and then sadly died of cancer,at this time spielberg and lucas had already hired the young Lawrence kasdan to do the script to Raider of the lost ark,Lucas asked kasdan to take over the writing of Empire ... Months later Kasdan,Kershner and lucas did partake in a long story conference to hammer the final points in place...and hence Empire was born. Also found a little side remark by kershner i find somewhat appropiate...

When all is said and done.... i still wonder how the prequels would have been if lawrence kasdan had been involved in their making...

Your post is a very good reading and you make good points...as for answers ..well i can only say that Bioware never aim to make a roleplaying game,no they make 3D diablo games with feats,and therefore see no reason to give the player a option to avoid combat..sadly.
