  1. I have spent my entire life in a town 440kms north of Alanschu.
  2. you could always try the 'search' option. Actually the sound file was posted here before and I still couldn't really make out what he was saying.
  3. ummm, extra crispy...:homer drooling emoticon:
  4. I still keep waiting for that swarm of lethal bees. Although in my province there is an outbreak of wasps right now. I agree with DLs attitude.
  5. I have a song called 'I am Andy Pipkin' on repeat right now 'I want that one
  6. I've seen quite a few SJ games on teevee and thought Korolyuk was pretty gifted as well. The other night I started a lengthy, big winded post about why I thought the Sharks might be in trouble this year. I didn't post it because I conflicted myself so many times. San Jose is a young, fast paced team. Super fun to watch. But with the loss of a slew of their veteran players, this team is going to need a few more seasons to mature, I think. Nearly every player on the team is going to need a career year to get the Sharks into the playoffs. I'd like to see it happen, but the the conference really seems a bit too deep for SJ to keep afloat...
  7. I like your pic, Enha_Dyone. I don't see what the big hubbalub was over the eyes. Welcome to the thread.
  8. And today Roberto Luongo from Florida turned down a 5 year, 25 million dollar contract five minutes before his arbitration meeting. In said meeting he was awarded a one year deal worth 3.2 mil. I think somebody needs to fire their agent...
  9. That is one depressing story. Incidentally, one of the movies he wrote ,'the Boost', is a very realistic view of the downside of drug addiction. Its a dark drama and I'd definately say its worth a rental if you can find it.
  10. Will a dead body tan?
  11. shes pissed nobody told her to wear white, silly. Or duh! Thats her dad?
  12. I was wondering more if the guy on the ground was trying to peek up her dress or just plain passed out. Where's the pic from Ender?
  13. Today, in fact, I did a completely immature and impromptu dance of joy at work when I duped a fellow employee into going out of town for me next week. Most days I'm super serious and hella professional. But the odd time I find myself staring out the windows wishing I could go play.
  14. For some reason I thought I saw him deposit two of the pictures at once. I think if James would have lost it wouldn't have made a difference. By that, I mean that the Alliance of Idiots ( cappy!! cappy!!!) wouldn't have voted James out. Its true that no one in the house trusts him ( except probably Yvette, but thats another topic), but they'll keep him around long enough until whats left of the other team is gone. Then its bye bye for James, because you can't win HOH back to back, and you just know they'll backdoor him so he can't win the veto.
  15. I'm 31 but some days you'd be hard pressed to call me an adult.
  16. This may seem odd, but my pot inspired stoner senses tell me Vancouver is going to the finals this year. Over the past twenty five years they have gone to the dance ( with their ugly cousin, to boot) in '82 and '94. Does anyone else see the pattern? I can overlook the fact that Dan Cloutier just doesn't have it and maybe this is the season they get great scoring from lines 2 through 4. As for who they will be playing against, I can't figure out which team in the East will emerge on top. On paper Philly looks great, but lets see how the injuries pan out. Ditto for Pittsburgh minus the 'looks good on paper part' . Atlanta has as much of a shot as Boston, Ottawa, and Tampa Bay. 43 days until it counts...
  17. Wow, I guess Brian Burke wants to make sure that his presence is felt in Anaheim. Dump that salary Biatch! Now he's down to about 32 million with six or seven roster spots to fill. I hate the Ducks, no question, but Steve Rucchin, despite being nearly as injury prone as Lindros, is actually a very gifted two way center. I think his presence will be sorely missed in Anaheim. Is Federov going to take all the draws on the PK? Good luck, and I hope the tie for second last place in the west goes as planned...
  18. Franz Ferdinand: Jacqueline Jacqueline was seventeen Working on a desk When Iver Peered above a spectacle Forgot that he had wrecked a girl Sometimes these eyes Forget the face they're peering from When the face they peer upon Well, you know That face as i do And how in the return of tha gaze She can return you the face That you are staring from It's always better on holiday So much better on holiday That's why we only work when We need the money Gregor was down again Said come on, kick me again Said i'm so drunk I don't mind if you kill me Come on you gutless I'm alive I'm alive I'm alive And how i know it But for chips and for freedom I could die It's always better on holiday... and I've been loving this song by the Fountains of Wayne for the past two days or so, so... Well I
  19. Just wait. Come Thursday they'll vote off Howie and leave Rachel sitting around miserable until they vote her out. Of course having said that I expect Princess Sarah to post a spoiler proving once again I am completely out to lunch. Was it just me or was that one of the weirdest veto competitions?
  20. Once again I find myself strangely agreeing with Volourn. Quit it!
  21. Lets hope Heatley returns to form with a new enviroment. I wonder if Kovalchuk is going to resign with the Thrashers now that his buddy is gone. I don't think of Selanne as the offensive force he once was. If he plays on a line with Federov and Sykora he might put up decent numbers, but I'm not too sure if that will make Rob Neidermeyer very happy
  22. That is amazing. I would have to say Lei is much improved over T4. Paul seems a touch quicker as well. I like some of the new moves for both, but I'm so bloody rusty at this game its going to take a few days to get back in the swing of things.
  23. Too true, 213374U. Last night it took hours to beat Jinpachi, this morning in an hour I finished story mode with three characters, unlocking one of my all time faves, Anna Williams! I miss her black and white leaopard outfit... And that Devil Within games blows donkeyballs, as you said, numbers. I have to do that to unlock Tekken Ball, don't I?
  24. Holy ****! I just read on TSNs website that Ottawa is moving Marian Hossa for Danny Heatley. Now thats a trade! And the Canucks signed yet another former Oiler today in Josh Green.
  25. Is Brian Burke insane? First, he wastes two mil on Rob Neidermeyer, now Teemu Salami? I honestly thought he was pretty shrewd in Vancouver, but now I'm not so sure. Its a good thing I hate the Ducks anyway. Who's next for their team, Brian Savage?
