  1. I left the boa feather out of her hood on purpose just to throw you
  2. And looking at it on the screen right now makes me realize I didn't do that **** hot of a job on the lightsaber. Oh well.
  3. You know ED, I think you're right. But sometimes liberties must be taken... Anyhoo I kind of like how this turned out (which is rare) even though I pretty much wanted to leave the shading like the original I was watching hockey as I was doing this and certain goals by my team led to this picture turning into a big scribbly.
  4. Doesn't the new Ultimate Spider-Man game have that cel animation look?
  5. Thanks for guilting me into drawing something, Pixies...
  6. I wonder if it glows. Does $13.81 seem a little low?
  7. Teemu Selanne, I hate you! Damnit now it's two nil for the Ducks. It's time for rally caps (already) Alanschu!!!
  8. And Calgary isn't holding up too well against Colorado. I can see my lead dissapearing as the minutes go by unless Radek Dvorak can score a dozen points. unless of course Jason Spezza ends up with three all by himself
  9. I was the same as Jags, but with a much lower intellect.
  10. Like getting his ass in gear for the Spike telemovie.
  11. And here are some suprising stats so far... 2005-2006 - Regular Season - Penalty Kill - PENALTY KILL % 1 NSH 100.0 28 PHI 69.2 29 SJS 66.6 30 CGY 62.5
  12. This is an older song from a band called the Tragically Hip. Known as rawk gawds in Canada, I can't stand a lot of their stuff but their earlier albums contain some wicked cool songs, like this one. Little Bones: It gets so sticky down here Better butter your cue-finger up It's the start of another new year Better call the newspaper up 2.50 for a hi-ball, And buck and a half for a beer Happy hour, happy hour Happy hour is here The long days of Shockley are gone So is football Kennedy style Famous last words taken all wrong Wind up on the very same pile 2.50 for a decade And a buck and a half for a year Happy hour, happy hour Happy hour is here I can cry, beg and whine T'every Rebel I find Just to give me a line I could use to describe They'd say, Baby eat this chicken slow It's full of all them little bones. So regal and decadent here Coffin cheaters dance on their graves Music, all it's delicate fear Is the only thing that don't change 2.50 for and eyeball And a buck and a half for an ear Happy hour, happy hour Happy hour is here Nothing's dead down here, just a little tired They'd say, Baby eat this chicken slow It's full of all them little bones.
  13. I'm cheering for the White Sox as well. It's a Chicago thing. They are long overdue for some big victories in that city, and since the Cubbies are done like dinner...
  14. It would have been a slow night, if I didn't have to fight myself for the lead in my hockey pool. Today was extremely lame. Between eleven hours of work, a pre thanksgiving dinner, and everything else I only managed to catch the last minute of the Chicago-Columbus game. At least Tyler Arnason and Robert Lang came through. 1 19 Kor Qel Droma 56 5 56 7 0.71 1 - 13 2 18 Corey Borko 54 4 54 5 0.80 1 2 13 3 39 Bill & Kenton 53 2 53 4 0.50 2 3 10 4 6 Rob Mickanuik 52 1 52 2 0.50 0 4 13 Of course at work I am known as the Brian Savage of hockey pools. edited for grammar and a whack of missing words
  15. That was a great article! Thanks Mkreku. The killah is still the king in my book.
  16. And the Petr Bondra/ Marc Savard/ Marian Hossa line is the ****ing bomb!! Of course what will happen when they play someone other than Washington. I spent a fair bit of time watching the Bruins/Penguins game. All I can say is never take a lead for granted in the new NHL. Glen Murray for teh winnah. And the Oilers tie the game in the last minute of the third and go on to win the shootout. Welcome back HNIC. 'hugs teevee'
  17. GRAPES IS BACK!! sorry non Canadians
  18. I just watched a movie that I haven't seen since I was a child and VCRs were a new thing. It's called The Warriors. It has a little bit of a cheese factor to it, but its still a cool film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080120/
  19. Thats a valid rant. I think Iggy has earned his coin. Nash and Kovalchuk should still be a tier below him on the pay scale, I think. Playoffs should have a factor in salary. But at the same time you can't argue their value to their own teams, so who knows? Hockey Night In Canada is back tonight, it's actually just starting now. I wish everyone in the thread could get the CBC for a Saturday feed.
  20. Will he or won't he? Does anyone know? http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=139023&hubname=nhl
  21. I don't know if I agree with you on that, Surrepflatus. Last week I couldn't log onto my computer or turn on my tv without seeing an ad or twelve for Serenity. Of course, as we all know, Canada doesn't really count in the big picture.
  22. I just got in. I liked it. A lot. It made me laugh , it made me sad. I jumped in a spot or two. Cool flick. And there were 30 people tops in the theatre. Everyone else went to go see ' Into the Blue'
  23. It was a good night for Hossa and Savard as well. Six points between two players is always good for my pool. And what is wrong with the Sharks? Chicago is a much better team than last year, but 6-2?
