I'm watching the Rangers/Islanders game right now. The Isles went up three nil in the first five minutes but the Rangers have since scored and are on a 5 on 3 powerplay as we speak...

I finally won my first Stanley Cup this afternoon. It was a seven game series against Toronto. My created player picked up the Norris Trophy as well as the Conn Smythe. Good times. Good times.

Thats an unfortunate story. I remember the Rangers calling him up as an 18 year old and throwing him to the Wolves for a 20 game stretch or so. At least he's showing more heart than Keith Tkachuk.

I just read on TSN that Datsyuk is headed back to Detroit. What an ****.

I have to disagree with you, Hurlshot. I remember in 03/04 watching the Rangers tearing it up during the preseason. Then we all know what happened in October. They openend up a can of suck and never looked back.

I just finished listening to 'Take Me Out' by Franz Ferdinand at the gym. Then on the way home it played on the radio. I get to my apartment and put on Itunes with schuffle and guess what plays first? Take Me Out. Weird.

On the plus side Mkreku, Lindros didn't get hurt. He started out kind of well but ran out of gas by the third. And that Ponikarovsky scored a highlight reel goal.

I fell asleep on the couch during the Ottawa/Toronto game. I heard the first two Dallas goals go in then thought 'a nap might not be so bad'. Then about an hour later I woke up to Rod Phillips, God bless his heart, screaming at the top of his lungs. I think that Phillips guy is cool. The Oilers website has a nice interview up in the media section.

My bookshelf is filled with Stephen Kings Dark Tower series. I thought it was good. Also must give shout outs to my other favorite books, Helter Skelter, and Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh.

Hey Alanschu if both Dvorak and Morow are in the lineup tonight let me know who played a better game. I plan on listening to the game, but I'll be watching the Leafs and Sens at the same time. Allright! Rosbjerg popped in! Aside from gaming, I draw some pictures from time to time, hold down a steady job, exercise, and watch hockey on teevee. I play guitar as well but wouldn't dare to call myself a musician. Plus I'm kind of a movie and cartoon buff.

I'm stuck listening to a couple of old John Mellencamp songs. Notably 'crumblin' down' and 'the authority song'. Every time I go to a wedding and hear 'Hurts so good' I want to gag, but those two songs rawk.

Thanks for the help. To answer your question Hurlshot you pick one player from each line. I think Langkow is probably going to end up in my pool, but my gut tells me to pick Marc Savard. I think Ruutu is going to break out this season, and Robataille and Yzerman are just too plain old to put up great numbers.

You know, I'm really having some problems with my hockey pool. We have 100 of the top scorers of the last season split into 20 boxes. The top 75 people to choose from are pretty easy. Its just the last row that has me a little stumped. Here's the boxes: Langkow-S.Kozlov-Savard-Tarnstrom-and T Hunter from NYI Hecht-Robataille-Daigle-Yzerman-Ruutu Leetch-Kvasha-Zednik-Niewendyk-Malone Morozov-Dvorak-Bondra-Morrow-Bergeron(Bos) Czerkawski-Erat-Brunette-Roberts-Frolov Slim pickings, no? The only definate choice I have is Tuommo Ruutu from the second list. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Alright! Another slow weekend in teh forums. Since there was absolutely **** on teevee tonight, I thought I'd do some drawing. Now this isn't finished, and has no Mira or Bastila like Miss Coras most excellent pics, but I thought I'd post it irreguardless. Its my take on Mandalore. Its kind of a blend of the TOTJ era guy with the armored Canderous.
