  1. Well, there was the missed Cheechoo elbow to Prongers' throat as well. As much as the media is showering Jason Smith with much deserved gratitude right now it was Mike Peca who really got the ball rolling with a wickedly crazy goal. That and a lucky break for Samsonov pretty much sealed the deal. Of course the loudest building in the league does not hurt either. Can't wait for Sunday. The best of three begins...
  2. A little more than forty minutes to gametime. Hurlshot was right, game 4 should be more of a indicator of where the series is going to go. If the Sharks win tonight the Oil are pretty much finished. Because home ice is really proving to be important in this series.
  3. That's Henry McCoy, otherwise known as the intellectual Beast. Kelsey Gramme(a?)r is underneath the fur. Superstrong with great agility. In the original run of the X-Men he was a founding member along with Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman and Angel. As for how he fits in with the current series I have no clue. I've heard he's dead or something like that. Calax would know.
  4. If you substitute 'brainwash' with 'assasinate' we could have a very interesting episode on our hands...
  5. Of course that post would have made more sense if Ottawa had actually lost last night. Let's go Oilers, let's go!!!
  6. Great, now we get all those lame bandwagon jumpers. Thanks for nothing Ottawa.
  7. Local H - Lovey Dovey
  8. And how could I forget greybeard swinging a bolo or sling and then you see somebody (Jack?) going down!! Plus Sayid says to Jack ' I believe Michael has been compromised'
  9. I caught both the american and canadian previews for next week. The one from the states showed Michael in the Others camp. The canuck version had him leading a group of survivors to the Others, saying ' only Jack, Hurley, Sawyer and Kate should go' to meet them. That rat bastard. The US one also had Mikey saying to one of the others " My son is probably dead anyway" to which the Other replied " No, he's right here in front of you". The next shot was a group of survivors on the beach looking all dumbfounded.
  10. edit: And how about that Ryan Smyth? Losing three of his bottom teeth (which you could see being cleaned along with the ice) to come back to set up the game winning goal. That's balls.
  11. I'll admit my computer area is a little cramped, but it's not like I have a whole hell of a lot of room to work with. I actually like how it's set up. All I have to do is turn my head to watch teevee. See, I fit.
  12. Don't kick me out of the Oilers fan club Alan. I went to bed at the end of regulation. Hopefully on Friday we can play the first period of last nights game three times in a row.
  13. Looks like its showdown time next week. Magic Bolo for teh win!!
  14. Here's my organized mess:
  15. I caught it a couple of hours ago and thought it picked up near the end.
  16. Remo: You know, Chiun, you're a real pain in the ass Chiun: That is because it is the fastest way to your brain
  17. I was just going to say the same things about the b-sides. You have to admit that Noel had a decent run back in the early days of the band. I'm not much of a person for buying singles, but for a period of time in the mid to late nineties every time I went to the record store I was either buying one of their singles or ordering another one. What's your take on Whatever Drabs? Pop gem or repetitive POS? Oasis - Columbia what I heard, is not what I hear I can see the signs, but they're not very clear
  18. I watched Remo last night. I still think it's a good show. edit: get it right people, the guy only had one metal hand
  19. Don't believe the hype about 'Don't Believe The Truth'. If you haven't liked anything since 'be here now' this won't change your mind. The senior Gallagher seems to have run the songwriting well dry. The progression of good songs on each album has dwindled accordingly with each subsequent disk. I liked about five songs on 'standing on the shoulders of giants' and three on 'heathen chemistry'. I bought the latest one, put it on and was like 'okay lets see whats left'. Unfortunately there wasn't anything good about that album. With that being said I am now listening to 'Little By Little' off of Heathen Chemistry
  20. Damn you tailies!!!!
  21. Neither. It's rechargable with either a USB port or a wall adapter. Of course I just found out I bought the wrong one, so... *Plus Ipod into computer* I'll see your 'Half The World Away' and raise you an 'I've Got The Fever' by Oasis.
  22. Darth Drabek wins the arguement!! The only times I hear Phish is when they replay the 'Weekend At Burnsie's' episode of the Simpsons. And the music selection at work includes 'a touch of grey' by the Dead. I say to each their own. If you like your booze, great. If you're enjoying soft drugs recreationally, it's the same. It's when you cross the line into **** like Meth and Coke and Herion that you become a dolt.
  23. Edmonton needs more puck support in San Jose's zone and less neutral zone turnovers. That being said, the Sharks are slightly less dominant when playing away from home. Here's hoping there is a really big win for the Oil tomorrow night. Please jebus don't let us be swept!!!
  24. I guess we'll have to wait another day to find out if I'm right about Eko getting the axe. Personally I think Libby is dead as well. As for Michael and the Others, I wonder if he's doing this voluntarily or if he is being told what to do. Henry didn't really look like he knew what was going on when Mikey opened the door.
