  1. Haha Drabs I was just listening to that song on my way home for lunch. I forked out the cashish for an Ipod yesterday. The sound quality is great. The battery life is the only thing I can bitch about. Weezer - Across The Sea
  2. What a gorram good second period. San Jose killing off the five on three while only one of their players had a stick was completely amazing. I hate having to get up early for work when there is good hockey on late. <_<
  3. There is a lot more competition for your entertainment dollar in SJ than Edmonton, I would think. Aren't we playing the back to back games because the ice capades or something was in the HP Pavillion? And I see on the Scores' ticker that big Georges will be dressing for Dvorak. He's pretty much been the poster boy for suck this year ( again) but sometimes in the playoffs he can really step it up a notch. Of course that was in the old NHl, mind you. Skate harder you big dude, you!! 2 hours, twenty minutes to game time. Should I watch the other games tonight or the DVD of Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins? Hmmm, tough choice...
  4. One of the things that I enjoyed about last night's game was that there were no 5 on 3 PPs, and that it seemed like everyone was finishing their checks. I don't know if I agree that Niemminen had fifteen hits, but he was a hopping. Plus Ethan Moreau seemed to find his stride big time last night. And Alan implied that Harvey is injured, so it looks like we'll be dressing teh big number 27 instead. And I read in the paper this morning that the Sharks maxed out their decibal meter at 107. That's just one shy of the Oilers who clocked in at 108. Do you know if the Tank was sold out last night, Hurlie?
  5. I'd say a nice mixture of both. Marleau's one-timer in the first was wicked beautiful. And Edmonton couldn't adjust to the wisening of the Sharks' PK. Of course our PK was perfect, but getting two shots in a period is nothing to be happy about. Maybe MacTavish will have to revert to the trap on Monday. Hopefully some Oilers had their eyes opened tonight. I wonder who'll suit up for Dvorak? I'd say Todd Harvey. He's a bit more of a mucker than Laraque, who just seems good at firing weak backhands and holding on to the puck in the corner. San Jose had a pretty vocal crowd tonight. In the third it dawned on me 'why can't the NHL go back to the old system of home whites?'.
  6. Best of luck to your team, Hurlshot. Even though I think mine will win. And way to go Colorado!!!
  7. Nay. My friend was third in line at ticketmaster and they were sold out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Sun/Journal said this morning that there were only 300 tickets available. If I lived in Edmonton I'd do my best to have season tickets. Nosebleeds fo sho, but season tickets nonetheless. And here is some good natured Leaf bashing. We haven't forgot about you Mkreku!!!
  8. The Cult - Fire Woman just taking another little trip down nostalgia lane.....
  9. Did you get tickets Alan?
  10. It wasn't just the goalies tonight. Although it seems like they didn't really help. And what's Ottawa going to do, start Mike Morrison?
  11. I can't stand hearing 'Jump' anymore, but anytime 'Panama' (Panama!!!) or 'Hot For Teacher' comes on I really tend to turn up the stereo. Van Halen - Panama
  12. Vice City seems like a lifetime ago....but I actually have the OUtfield cd. Ben Harper- Burn One Down
  13. The Outfield - Your Love as you're leaving please won't you close the door and don't forget what I told you because you're right don't mean I'm wrong another shoulder to cry upon I just want to use your love...tonight
  14. New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle old school for teh win!! That and you're the first person whom I've ever heard of listening to CBC radio, Drabs.
  15. My picks are the same as Alans with the exception of the Jersey/Carolina series.
  16. I bet he still gets his ass whipped by angry drunken Flames fans. And I spent some time going over our first round predictions. Here are the results: Alanschu:6 correct ( should have picked the Oil ) Hurlshot: 5 correct ( see above) KQD: 4 correct ( NYR and Tampa, LOL) Delta Truth and Volourn both tied with three. Man, I don't like our chances against the Sharks, Alan. I can see my relationship with Hurlshot going downhill, bigtime!
  17. *Goes to Spoilerflix.com* edit: I guess we'll have to wait a week to find out!
  18. See, now is the time to don your rally caps DT. I see a couple of Oiler fans on the red mile tonight. LOL.
  19. I know assumptions make an ass out of both you and me(although it's pointing mostly towards me), but I'm betting money that Eko doesn't survive past next Wednesday. Does anyone have any sort of idea how long Jack's dad was in Australia for? The way this episode paced the backstory it out seemed like he was there a week? Or was it longer?
  20. I'm just watching the replay now. Man, that Michael played everybody. As for the killing off of characters, I think it's pretty neccesary. Look at how many little segways they have just so people get some face time. Like Jin in tonights episode. If you look at it the last three people to die were all tailies. Does that mean Bernard is next?
  21. It could also be three if you caught the preview for next week...
  22. They must have teh funneh water over at the Others' camp.
  23. It looks like it's going to be a tough haul for the tailies.
  24. Caught the last minute again. Wow. Wow. Wow. Tell me about this commercial, Kumquat. Or I could just wait a few seconds...
  25. When? No, wait, what?
