I thought the show had flashes of brilliance sparkled with a few touches of meh. Visually this is the best Superman film, easily. Plot wise it wasn't all that and a bag of chips, I thought. See, now I remember my Superman Movie book from Scholastic that I ordered from school ( do they still do that nowadays?) waaay back in the day, and Reeves himself said he didn't lift weights because doing it made him feel 'nauseous' (you can correct my spelling, Meta).
