I watched a few minutes of Land Of The Dead this weekend as well. There was no way I was going to sit through that in its entirety, though. It sucked monkey balls.

I spent my weekend off on the couch with a nasty case of the flu, so I decided to go on an all out movie marathon. The better shows I watched: Batman Begins Starship Troopers The LOTR trilogy in one day ( okay I nodded off a bit during the first half of the TT) some of the ones that made me go meh: Contact Man-Thing

You're right again, Alan. It was MAB who had lost a bunch of weight as well. DVO had the knee injury from the Sharks series. I guess my reasoning for 'Nando was Pronger should just be happy to make it to the finals after spending a decade in St.Louis and never making it there. AS for Roloson there is no way we'll be able to sign him to an affordable contract if he wins the MVP. Of course as it stands right now I wonder if he'll be back next year at all. I can see some eastern team spending seven million on him right now based on his stellar playoff performance.

I think you could argue Pronger or Roloson. But my darkhorse for the MVP is none other than Mr.Clutch himself Fernando Pisani. So the Oil are 6-2 at home, and 6-3 on the road. That's a cool stat. Damn you rehashing that old sixties theme song, Jags. But the second one took me back. That series was almost never on, as well as its successor, 'Spider-Man and his amazing friends' which was almost exactly the same except they added ' with Firestar and Iceman' to the end. Plus there was even a Spider-Woman cartoon on at roughly the same time. Yes, I know I'm old. Fox really nailed it down for the nineties version, though. From the Secret Wars to Black Cat it was easily my favorite. The CGI one that aired a few years ago was kind of weak, IMO.

I'm still going to argue that the 60's cartoons were worse than the movies. In the telefilms you had the same wall crawling scene repeated, while in the cartoons everything was a rehash. The same stock footage over and over again... . As for XMen I still hope I get to go see it tomorrow, although I have to say my expectations are pretty low. Partly from what I've read here, and partly because I didn't really think the second one was all that hot. Aside from the opening scene with Nightcrawler, that is.

Please don't mention the old Spider-Man cartoons please? They always lead to memories of the old Rocket Robin Hood cartoons, which were as bad plus one. And the live action stuff on tv was a prime time series, wasn't it? I can't remember any telemovies of Spidey for some reason.
