Recommend me something to watch
Absolutely awesome. My only complaint is that it was canceled before anything is really explained. Still, 2 great seasons! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sing it loud, sistah!!! Actually if you do some digging on the internet you can pretty much fill in the blanks up to the point where the series regrettably ends. I wish I had the link handy, but I found a site where they pretty much sum up the whole avatar/Omega business in ways people can actually understand. It's still one of the most original shows ever made, IMO.

South Park in Japanese
The steroids one was pretty hilarious Cartman gets whupped by special Olympians, Jimmy 'roids up and Timmy is faced with a tough decision... And I'm just rewatching the LOTR episode now. LOL

South Park in Japanese
I had to watch that entire episode on youtube since our Canadian comedy station still doesn't have the new episode. It's still rerunning the ninth season. As for my favorite episode, I thought the one where Jimmy was on steroids was pretty good. Plus the Return Of The Fellowship Of The One Ring was hilarious.

I thought it was a tad weak, but not bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought the 'Mom...bathroom. Bathroom!' was pretty hilarious.

I'm a little more shocked at how ineffective our two minute five on three was. That and how rusty Ryan Smyth looked last night.

Happy Birthday Darth Drabek
Happy Birthday pal. I didn't get you anything, but I thought I'd send you a birthday song. edit:incidentally you share a birthday will Edmonton Oilers forward Raffi Torres. And your birthday falls the day after my older brothers.

Florida didn't really back up Eddie much. Not that I'm defending the old bastard. And when players like Marian Hossa get hot, there aren't a lot of goalies on the planet who can shut him down. And the Oil suffer their first loss to Calgary tonight in a somewhat akward affair. Neither team could convert on long five on three advantages, and there were several miscommunications in Edmonton's back end. I still take pride in knowing we've padded our PK stats at the expense of the Flames. Plus I'm more convinced the Kipper is some sort of demon hybrid, what with bouncing up after being levelled by Raffi Torres in the third. Now we have to wait until Thursday until the Sharks game. We'll see if some of the bad blood from last years playoffs can spice things up. And on another note. Minnesota. Will. Rock. You. That 1st powerplay unit with Demitra, Gaborik and Brian Rolston is pure hockey pool gold. Gold I tell you!

TV: Heroes
I caught the first episode of Smith and thought it was great. The second and third however, were pretty much just repeats of the first with minor plot changes. Now that's retarded.

ABC Miniseries: The Lost
I wonder what sort of plans Benry has for Sawyer and Kate. From the way Benry was talking, Kate's up for some torture. Maybe the Others are going to forcefeed her reruns of Ellen or Will & Grace? And I was going to pose a question about the Dharma stations, but this pretty much answered all of my questions.

And an assist as well, Alan. Plus Briere scored!

And Vancouver strikes again! Granted, beating Columbus doesn't really amount to anything, but two points are two points, you know? And it looks like Todd Bertuzzi might be off to a good start in Florida.

Uwe Boll Kicks the crap out of critics
Personally I could give two squirts of piss as to what Boll does. But if Hades is so opposed to what he's doing, maybe he should leave the internet for a while, start training with the corpse of Burgess Meredith and then shut Boll up himself. That would be a little more productive than pissing and whining like a little bitch about it.

The team you helped select rocketed up to sixth spot last night Alan. Joltin' Joe should be a boon in that department. All in all I was really pleased with last nights game. Calgary had what, nine powerplay attempts? Sykora gets three points and goes five for six in the faceoff circle? Not bad at all. Our defence did look a little wonky there for the first, but Tjarnqvist for one certainly calmed down a fair bit. I see Staios had 23 minutes of ice time. That's far too much for him. And Greene didn't called for a penalty and still managed to play physical. Leaguewide we got a preview of the Gaborik/Demitra experience. From what I watched from the Minny/Avs game it's not just them we should worry about. The second line of Todd White, Brian Rolston and PM Bouchard was all over the Colorado defence. And I also caught the tail end of the Sharks and Blues. The Sharks have the same question marks on defence that Oilers do, it seems.
