His birthday was the next day, so a few of the Oilers took him to the Keg for supper, then to one of the local country bars, where he tied one on. Sad thing was they all cleared out before midnight, according to the reports I've heard.

After playing about forty or so games in the last few days of EAs' NHL 07 I've decided to restart my season with a few of the rookies from this season. Plus I've increased the length of periods to ten minutes from five. That gives my created defenceman, who was 14-17-31 in 42 games a better chance at cracking the leader board for defencemen throughout the league ( which incidentally is an absolute pain in the ass to get to ) . I want the Norris trophy too, dammit!

Greene is big and can hit, but he is pretty slow for the 'New NHL'. I noticed his improvement as well last year, but I still think that he's a step or two behind being anything other than a number six defenceman. Of course we're starved for any D right now, so I guess I shouldn't bitch. I think Tom Gilbert may be the dark horse to squeeze in on the blue line. Having said that he'll probably be sent down this week.

I have no confidence in Matt Greene whatsoever. Tonight's matchup against the Panthers should be a better test than the game yesterday. Yay! The HF boards are back up!

I own this on DVD and try not to miss it whenever its on. A wonderful performance from Guy Pearce is upstaged by Russel Crowe acting like himself. This is an excellent show and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind some violence with their whodunits.

I'm 81 I believe. So far I have goals in about half of the games I've played, but I don't really have a lot of assists. Nobody on my team is even close to the leaders league wide. Damn you skill stick!!
