In response to post #1: I think Revan is a much more in-depth character, I would give some reasons supporting this but it was indicated by the author not to post spoilers. In responce to post #50: Sion may have been more powerful do to what he was taught at the Trayus academy, if Malak had gone there I'm sure he would have increased power mirroring that of Sion or Nihilus (although I'm not sure I would call it "power" that Nihilus learnt, I thaught it more of a weakness)

That's odd, all three of my times through (twice LS and once DS) it was appearant that Revan was female (I think it has something to do with the harbinger logs, maybe if its Admiral Cede then Revan is male and if its Admiral Onasi Revan is female?) And I got that door open once using the explosives before I faught Sion, all the holocron had was Bastila babbling about Revan and the Korriban civil war.

errmm...would someone mind telling me what B.B.Y stands for? -
35-40% of the time the game fails to load.
Qxiili replied to megaton's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Failure to load?.... I've had the all to real glitchyness that is KotOR II but never once has a game or area failed to load. -
I couldnt resist when I played DS...she makes good tips

Kriea and her lightsaber...
Qxiili replied to darth_nemisis's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
What really had me scratching my head is when she pulls out a Vibro Sword from thin air (even though I had her equipped with a Plasma Torch) on the Harbringer. She pulled out that sword and went to confront Sion, I thought that was weak. - dr cloak <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kinda like Trask Ulgo on the Endar Spire, unequip his clothing and he still wears the republic armor, (and never equip a sword or take away all weapons and he still pulls out a sword to fight Bandon)...just something that happens in these games. -
The Saresh visor was an odd yellow/gray looking band that wore around my ear, down around my chin then up to the other ear...like a chin gaurd or something, very odd. And Silver is pretty cool, my last DS game I switched from red to a silver focus crystal for my saber, pretty wicked had like 13-34 damage or something to it.

Malak & Visas' saber's? no I cant say I have ever even seen them.. I would have to assume Malak's saber was left on the star forge along with his rotting corpse..not sure what happened to the Star Forge, just one of the many unanswered questions of KotOR II and, Visas' saber gets destroyed when she attack's the exile. ...I found something like a Saresh visor on Malachor V that I thaught might be a rare random item, but then a little further into the level I found another one, same with the Qel-Droma belt I got on Korriban then again in the Udo Kresh (or w/e)'s tomb.

KotOR II got bad reviews? by who? some forum junkie gamespot employee wannabe? bah, all I have seen from the major gaming sites are good ratings.

I find that highly disturbing..

Sometimes I just want to use this game for skeet
Qxiili replied to megaton's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The ending? Cinematic? pffft, I've seen both LS and DS and they are very very sorry endings, I guess Traya giving you options for you're destiny has some effect on there being no ending cinematic but it would be nice. -
Force Crush I believe is a Sith only power, I got it once after I got somewhat far into Sith Lord levels, I was 100% DS and using that on Sion & Traya defeated them no prob with relatively low drain on my force. Oddly enough I was a Jedi Guardian/Sith Lord with like 13 or 14 charisma/willpower and I never had Force Crush fail me once.

ANNOUNCEMENT:Referring To Bug Fixs In K2!
Qxiili replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I guess I will just have to play my version of the the game then sometime around june go to wal-mart and exchange it for a new version.... this is saying that there is going to be a new version for the North America market. Also a directors cut, double pack or however you want to pack it/ call it, would be great the only thing I would want for them to do in the "double pack" is to include the Yavin download for kotor in the release... or in other owrds so I wouldn't have to Download it. p.s. I didn't buy the game at wal-mart but they are very slack on their return policy so its all good :D . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so there is going to be a new version for you americans is there? because we interrnationals are getting the bug fixs I believe alot of people be pleased indeed! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> MMORPG KotOR? wow, that's uh...err a great idea considering how well SWG did...(lmao) And great news for everyone except us American xbox gamer's, we get the buggy, glitchy first draft...pfft, typical. -
You can train Mira as a jedi? wtf...lol Guess I need to play through a few more times, my first times through LS I trained Handmaiden.
-
That happened to me once while fighting Darth Nihilus, I had to re-load but luckily I saved right before the battle so it wasnt a big deal. btw, its Vrook not Vroom
-
Hmmm, I would suggest before talking to the civilians around Khoonda that you unequip you're lightsaber, the very sight of it made them wet theirselves when I attempted to talk to them.
-
Dealing specifically with the KotOR series what is you're favorite force power? light or dark.. Mine would have to be Force Crush.
-
I'm not sure if its a glitch or not but I havent been able to loot his corpse,I remember looting Vrook's corpse (surprisingly he was the strongest of Kavar,Zez-Kai,Atris and himself and I had to adopt a rather weak tactic to beat him...come to think of it, I found Vrook to be the toughest of all NPC's I faught in the game) I do not remember looting Atris or Kavar, I seem to have a short memory.

The same bat dude who tells you the password for the pazaak den will influence you're reputation with the exchange, either positive or negative depending on you're preference (this costs 2,000 cred's per go so its best to do most/all of the work yourself if you can) I always go for the negative, slaughtering every member of the exchange in the refugee sector and cleaning up in the pazaak den got them to notice me enough and triggered the next section of Nar Shadaa level.
-
You have to get the Exchange to "notice" you, you can pay the bat dude in the cantina entrance 2k to up you're rep. with them, I never figured the pass for the pazaak den, I always used Force Persuade to get in. And the ID gets changed soon after you go to Goto's ship.

Kriea and her lightsaber...
Qxiili replied to darth_nemisis's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah I'm not sure either, but if she did have a lightsaber I would use her more often in the begining of the game...after I leave Peragus I never even use her in the party unless its to level up. -
hmm, after looking at the message Bastila left in the Sith holocron in the Korriban academy I got the feeling she was into Revan.

Another lightsaber crystal thread...

Dark Green? wtf.. I'm all for variety of colors....silver, light blue, and orange were nice additions. But when you ask for Dark Green its getting a little picky. -
~*~*~*~*~SPOILER ALERT~*~*~*~*~ The following post may contain undesired information of the KotOR II storyline, thus through this large alert at the begining of my post I make myself legally immune and resolve myself of *ALL* responsibility should any undesired effects or "spoilers" occur to the reader. (dont make me write that again when I decide to post a SPOILER, someone be nice and tell meh how to do the black baring on my posts) ehhrrmhrrmm..anyway, back to the poster's question... Should there be a KotOR III, part of me would want it to deal with Revan and the Exile in the unknown space where they are combating the true Sith forces, but that seems a bit err impossible or improbable. The Sith or Jedi could emerge victorious in KotOR III but that wouldnt mean the extinction of the other, the people may not but their teachings always survive..refer to Episode I when the few existing Sith are just re-emerging from an extended hibernation period..the battles between Sith and Jedi may be faught, but the war between them will never truly end.

I've played through KII now three times, once DS and twice LS and I was thinking maybe I missed some things... Obviously Carth is in the game, and there is mention of Revan...HK-47 and T3-M4 return and Kreia refers to "Clan Ordo" when talking of Mandalore's future with that and his voice I would suspect Mandalore is Canderous although I could never get him to talk much even when I was evil as can be, although HK-47 seemed pleased when I blew Kumus' permacrete decie's up while he was up on the hill, lol...anyway, anyone get anything out of Mandalore, T3-M4, or HK-47 about Revan or the fate of the other 'lost' party members of KotOR?
