well to tell the truth My xboxs runs KOTOR better then my PC. reason its a cheap PC.

There's nothing wrong with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. At least the 80's TMNT's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The original Turtle comics by the creators were actually pretty cool. I remember the artwork and subject matter being a lot more mature. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You where a lot younger also.

I like both games on my xbox and pc. Can't play KOTOR 2 on my PC. It just can't handle it. You have to do more work on PC to make sure it runs right. Virus scans, spyware programs etc... Xbox you never have to worry about those things and you don't have to buy upgrades all the time to play the new games. I just like the xbox controller but I can hook it up to the pc or I can use a mouse and key board with this. But controllers are user choice just come down what you like better. I've add a mod chip to my xbox and large HD and it has very few problems most because I was trying new things. I can use trainers and modded items for games. PC games are easier to mod though. I've never had a good time playing online with my PC. (only game I've played was halo) but I just choose fire up my xbox on use XBConnect or xlink for free online play. Seeing games how the devlopers want would that mean you had to have the same systems and most dev. system would make mine cry? I really want a patch instead of a completed game. looks like Halo 2 might start expansion packs for the xbox. for $200 the xbox wins. when the price doesn't matter just buy the consoles and a good PC then you will always be able to plat the latest and games no matter what platform. If consoles where smart they would make something so you could play their games on PC as well.

No but the better game makers will make console games because that is where the Money is. That really didn't anwser anything. yes or no can a PC four years back play the KOTOR 2 game today without upgrades? And how much was that PC?

Thats why I'm not a big PC gamer anymore. Which is sad because most people have a PC in there house. To bad they can't play the new games.

How well does a Computer 4 years old do with no upgrades do with new games. Xbox has not changed for 4 years. I buy a game today its will still work on my xbox. Why is the console game market kicking the crap out the PC game market?

Laptop. :D I use my laptop in the living room. Do you watch T.V. on your PC. When the mood hits to play games I don't want to wait for the PC to get up and running. I turn on my Xbox and scroll to the game I want to play. Not wanted to walk alittle is the saddest reason not to buy console I have ever seen. How lazy can you be. I though I was bad. :D I choose to have both PC and console just for more options.

show me a $300 computer built for gaming only that is better then the xbox. I had my xbox for 3 years and only added a chip and a bigger HD. still less then $300 dollars. Plus I have alot of old school roms on it. Plus my load times are faster then my PC. crappy PC<xbox<modded xbox<Good PC. However the problem is that you have to update your PC all the time to get the most out of some games. The console is not for hardcore gamers but people who like to play games when they have time.

If you wanted you can turn the Xbox into a Linux and get put on a Word Processor. It would run like crap and be slow as hell.

But thats the problem if you have a crappy pc then Kotor 2 not that great and much better on a xbox. If you have great PC then the PC version is the way to go just for the patch and its easier to mod then the xbox.

I can get console and crappy PC for $600. So can I get a pc for $600 that can play the New games and not be upgraded every 2 years to play the new games?

Can I get a PC that will play KOTOR 2 and most of the new games for $200 and won't have to upgrade for 2 years?

The sad thing is KOTOR was set up to be the xbox RPG. Which the xbox is lacking. But that would created a fan base willing to buy every new KOTOR game for decades. They should have made sure K2 and K3 where the best they could do. then they could get sloppy on one.

They had plan for K3 while making K2. I sure we will hear Revans story and maybe the exile. As long as the story good I'll be happy.

They rushed the game and made mistakes. Now you want them to rush the patch which might not fix things. Let them take there time to make the patch right unless you want the patch didn't fix enough thread. Did they even test it.

depending on how the made KOTOR 2 there might be hooks for xbox yes expansion pack might be possible. They did it with DOA 3. And Halo 2 will be getting a expansion pack, you can buy it in may for $20 If not you have to wait until the end of summer to get everything from XBL. I be willing to pay $20 for added content disk or $40 for SE version with fixes and added planets/quest.

Modded Xboxes have issues, as does running the game from the HD but neither of those things are officially supported. So anyone having problems there , out of luck. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You underestimate the xbox modded community. Most of the probelms related to the hard drive has been fixed. The only problem is the xbox loads the game to fast causing problems with the random items . I played off the disk and HD and had very little problem. I had the T3 glitch once but I saved before that point and reloaded no problem after that.

It all depends on the game. KOTOR pc is very close to the xbox. I have used many of the PC mods on my xbox. I did have a light saber that looked like a big nerf bat. Almost didn't want to fix it. (w00t) It just comes down to a matter of taste with controls and confort. some people like chairs other like there couch. Some like the mouse/key board (which you can now hook up to a xbox) others the controller(which you can use on the pc).

I like KOTOR 2 on my Modded Xbox. Quick load times :D However if you have to choose if you have a good PC then that would be the way to go. Just for the patch. Other then that I can use allot of the mods for my xbox.

I have a feeling that its in production right now but its on the down low. If they are making it for the next xbox then things are quiet about any game in production. I have hope.

I wouldn't mind being in poverty like a jedi. They had food, ships and lots of credits. From the movies the jedi's seemed to have everything they needed or wanted.
