You'll soon find yourself addicted. I like that Fox is re-running the best episodes, but you're still missing a lot if you don't see it from the beginning. Lots of character tidbits, and the whole Vogler story-arc. We have all the episodes, and since we hacked our X-Box, we can stream them from my laptop to the TV. Muahahahahahaha!

Ah, yes....the greatness of MythBusters! I love that show. I've seen a little bit of Deadwood here and there. I really need to watch it from the beginning, because in a few weeks when Six Feet Under finishes, I'll need a new HBO show to be hooked on.

CSI used to be my number one obsession, then I got totally hooked on House. I casually watch 24, but I am very interested in seeing how they start off the season after how they ended it. Amazing Race has been my guilty pleasure for a while now, and I successfully got TJ hooked on it, along with House. And he's not much of a TV person to begin with.

Ender's mom is psychotic, like whoa. But his younger brother is single... "

*takes a deep breath* Lost House CSI Amazing Race Desperate Housewives Grey's Anatomy Boston Legal 24 And of course, everything will start right around the time that our baby is due....Thank god for TiVo. I wish we could get Hockey Night in Canada down here. Although for one glorious semester at Creighton, I got CBC from Halifax for some odd reason, and was able to watch some of my old shows.

If Messier went back to Edmonton, I would squeal like a freakin' fan-girl, then sell a kidney so we could afford to go see a game. Back in the day, Messier lived nextdoor to one of my friends, and we would "spy" on him. Heh. October 5th is the official starting day for hockey....I'm just hoping by then the NHL will get a TV contract, so I can actually watch the games. If nothing else, Omaha did get an AHL team, and we'll definitley go to those games. I still don't know how to feel about them bringing back shootouts. But I guess it will make the games more exciting and bring in more money.

*dreamy sigh* It's Hugh Laurie. My newest obsession. House is one of the best shows out there right now.

Oh, good lord. My fangirl list is WAY too big. (Hi baby, I still love you!) So here's my current fangirl obsession

Thanks on the avatar. My belly gets bigger and bigger every day...my belly button is about to pop out, which is both weird and somewhat gross. Here's a good collage of the growth of my belly over the past few months.

The mysterious Mrs. Wiggster makes an appearance! And since it's my uterus we're talking about, I'll place my bet and go for September 7.

Grabbed this off another forum... ABC will air a one-hour "introductory guide" to Lost. The special is designed to help new viewers catch up on the series' sometimes dense mythology as well as act as a refresher course for regular fans. The "Lost" special, set to air on Wednesday, April 27 at 8:00/7:00c (the show's regular time period), will focus on the characters of Jack (Matthew Fox), Kate (Evangeline Lilly), Locke (Terry O'Quinn), Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) and retell their respective backstories in a linear fashion. It's unclear however how the clips will be introduced and if the hour will include any "behind-the-scenes"-type footage.

Corporations re-naming well-known buildings.

Sandstone in Kansas City is now Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. -
Yes, the midwest is SO proud of Fred Phelps. No surpise that his church is in Kansas. The midwest is JUST as bad as the south for bible thumpers. Fred Phelps is the same man who organized a protest when Rent was touring in Kansas.

TJ and I had a revelation last night... The "island" is the Garden of Eden. That would explain a lot. And Locke? Lock is the snake.

I actually liked season 3. It wasn't nearly as good as season 1 or 2, but then again, how do you follow up that? Season 3's ending was very weak. To me it just seems like JJ Abrahms out did himself with Alias 1 and 2, and now in season 4 he's running out of ideas. So far it just seems like the episodes are repeats, but with different outfits and music.

But everything Locke does is for the benefit of the others, in a round about way. Boone had an extremely unhealthy relationship and obsession with his step-sister. Locke got rid of that. Telling the whole group about the hatch before knowing what it leads to would only cause mass panick and chaos amongst the survivors. If I were stuck on that island, I too would want Sayid on my side. Sawyer is not a trustworthy person, so I would want him out of the picture. So yes, a lot, maybe all, of what Locke does may appear to be self serving, but in the end he's helping others as well.
-
I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that the producers swear that they aren't all dead. TJ and I agree that Locke is the best character on TV today. He may be evil, but his evilness always has good intentions in the end... The island gives you what you want. Locke wanted to walk, Jack wanted to see his father, etc, etc. I'm really not digging Alias so far this season.
-
Yeah, Johnny Carson was a good Midwest boy. Born in Iowa and grew up in Nebraska. He had just recently donated $5.3 million to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
-
I think knowing Locke was PARALYZED and couldn't walk before coming to the island was a huge revelation. In fact, the Locke episode is one of my favorite episodes. And Locke has to be the greatest character on TV.
