  1. No it's sad that these two knuckleheads are the best we could come up with for a potential president. y'know how many elections previous to this one has had Gromnir saying the exact same thing? unfortunately, this time around we feel as if the universe or God or whatever took offense at our past hubris and presented us with a true nightmare scenario. next election is gonna need be kang v. kodos to be offering a less desirable pair o' options. HA! Good Fun!
  2. valparaiso is pinochet's hometown. gonna stick with usa as that were the original query, but honestly, we would need a map to figure out total numbers. quick count in our noggin says 28 as lowest possible number. have visited many states, but for a considerable # we only saw a hojos and a couple gas stations (and yes, Gromnir is that old that we can honest reference hojos).... or just the airport. for example, we musta driven through ohio literal a dozen times, and never stopped anywhere o' note. am understanding gd feelings 'bout ca, even if we find such pov to be limited. ca is enormous and diverse. we got rainforests, deserts and some o' the most picturesque mountain settings you could hope to imagine, and not all is having the tourist density o' yosemite. is areas so rural and remote that they makes brigadoon seem positive avant-garde by comparison. surf mavs in the morning and ski tahoe in the afternoon? channel islands is perhaps our favorite national park. dunno. as much as there is places we dislike in ca, we find it difficult to dislike ca as a state simple 'cause it offers so much diversity. favorite state? is a weird question as we typical thinks o' specific destinations rather than entire states. for example, we likes any number o' places in illinois, but the state? we do like corn and tornadoes can be kinda pretty in a terrifying kinda way, but we would be hard-pressed to call illinois our favorite state. ny State is a possibility. am knowing the tendency is to think o' the city as somehow representative o' the state, but that is far from the truth. got rural beauty AND all the cultural necessities Gromnir requires. for example, as much as we like eastern idaho, there is gonna be a paucity o' elite theater and music not to mention a stunning shortcoming insofar as our dining requirements is concerned. have said elsewhere that we dislike the south. is a problem for Gromnir. we don't like the humidity + heat combo and we has had less than favorable dealings with... southern culture. so pretty much anything south o' dc and east o' new mexico is verboten. dunno, the more we consider, the more we think ca is the winner for us. sure, most areas is relative expensive, but we ain't hurting for cash. is actual difficult to think o' something we want and can't get in ca... other than watching a notre dame home game live and in person. HA! Good Fun! ps we has spent a considerable amount o' time outside o' the US, particularly in asia and especially japan. am always happy to come home.
  3. well, am betting the % is lower than say the number o' english teenagers who believe winston churchill is a fantasy character. am willing to bet hard money that the % is less than the number o' russians who believe the chelyabinsk meteor were not a meteor at all-- top choices seem to include a US Govt. conspiracy, Russian Govt. conspiracy or aliens. HA! Good Fun!
  4. am recalling a baseball game we saw at candlestick some years ago when we were attending Cal. temps were mid/high 70sF, so we were in t-shirt and shorts. were one o' the more miserable baseball experiences we ever endured. at similar temps in a shaded seat with winds blowing at literal dozens o' comiskey games we attended, we woulda' been comfortable and maybe even a bit warm as the press o' all those human bodies had a tendency to make one feel warmer than the thermometer might suggest. were shivering our arse off at candlestick. always brought at least a sweatshirt with us to candlestick thereafter, regardless o' temps. san francisco baseball were a bit o' a shock for a guy from the midwest. good luck with the return trip. HA! Good Fun!
  5. 2 observations, one o' which is likely to get us in trouble with fellow minorities: 1) racism is a vague word shouldn't be. seems clear. treated unfairly 'cause o' race? then you experienced racism, yes? makes sense. fits dictionary definition. the thing is, when folks from minority groups speak o' racism, there is a tendency to lump the individual acts o' racism as well as the broader systemic denial o' equality o' opportunity. am expecting that most all o' us posting has experienced bigotry. treated unfair 'cause o' race, national origin, religion, taste in movies... whatever. the human animal, particularly in groups, has a tendency to resort to exclusionary behaviors that is manifest unfair. white guy is treated unfair by a black man 'cause o' race is racism where we is using racism to explain specific bigotry. the thing is, racism is also referring to a systemic evil. particularly where teh State denys equality o' opportunity based on race, we got a different kinda racism. may not even seem like bigotry neither as can be insidious and largely hidden. the guy at the bank who is denying your loan 'cause o' the predominantly african american neighborhood in which you plan to start your business may be very polite, and his reasoning for denial for the loan may even be based solely on sound business practices, but is still gonna have the potential to be racist. now, keep in mind that unlike some folks, we do not see systemic racism as a necessarily greater evil than bigotry. the terrible things we do to each other 'cause o' bigotry can be nightmarish. that being said, when folks speak o' racism, there is often confusion as to whether they is speaking o' bigotry or systemic denial o' opportunity or both. 2) the concept o' "generational racism" needs a viking funeral am not denying the impact o' past misdeeds on the current generation o' ___________. back in the early 1900s, there were all kinda government practices in the US that led to black americans being denied equal opportunity for home ownership. sounds like a small and remote problem, but the effects is enduring up until today. for most americans, the largest single investment they will ever make is a home, and there is all kinda tax and probate benefits related to ownership o' a primary residence. bob, the average middle-class white guy, is benefiting from multiple generations o' family home ownership and wealth transference. such generational inequities must be recognized. ... however, where we disagree is with the general notion o' non-specific emotional scaring from generational racism as being some kinda problem that needs fixing. am not denying that past injuries can linger and hurt and color perceptions for those generations that follow, but we don't believe such emotional scarring need or should be addressed when considering how to fix the future for marginalized peoples. sack up. really. find a way to create genuine equality o' opportunity while recognizing that past wrongs handicap various minorities before they even is born. find a way to actual level the playing field through educational and job opportunities and through business and property ownership legislation. but don't waste a moment o' time on the unnecessary and counter-productive hand-wringing that so often accompanies the "generational" racism discussion. your great-great grandfather were enslaved or murdered or both? well guess what, is any number o' jewish or catholic or chinese or polish persons who can share history lessons that is also full o' weal and woe. am not suggesting that folks should forget the past. hell am not even demanding that people forgive past wrongs. you wanna be angry 'cause great grandma mei were effective sold into slavery, and used as a prostitute for over a decade when she got off the boat in san francisco from china in the late 1800s? fine. be angry, but don't use such generational racism and scaring as an excuse for continued lack o' achievement. demand equal opportunity, and then prove you deserve it. make so that the legit angry young, black man can have a similar chance to succeed as does any wasp. unfortunate, generational racism is, all too often, an excuse to forgive personal inadequacy. can be a cheap dodge, and even when is real and genuine and honest, it ain't fixable save through a generation or two o' earned success. so ends another pointless Gromnir rant. HA! Good Fun!
  6. its a bit like experiencing poverty for 20 minutes. wealthy man forgets his wallet at home and can't purchase those opera tickets as he were expecting. clearly mr. moneybags understands poverty now that he has had to endure it... for 20 minutes. HA! Good Fun! ps it may not be true today, but 15 years ago there were few individuals more racist than the typical ny cabbie. full gamut o' racism. you could be too black or too white or too puerto rican or too earthling. cabbies were, as often as not, nuts and angry at... something. am being only slight hyperbolic. anywho, we had a few caucasian friends tell us how they understood racism 'cause frequently a black cabby would scream at them as they drove off, refusing to give'em a ride to the met or wherever. our white friends would laugh about the experience and wonder why we couldn't be just as dismissive o' such ludicrous behavior.
  7. much as with computer games, Gromnir has difficulty becoming enthusiastic 'bout more than one or two movie titles a year. oh sure, after a movie is released and word o' mouth from folks who share our refined sense o' style and taste (jk) leads us to believe that we will also enjoy the movie, then we, perhaps, become... less indifferent? dunno, we do follow a bit o' news for select movies, but am suspecting we do so in large part to validate our natural tendency to be dismissive. ghostbusters reboot? cast includes the nails-on-the-chalkboard annoying melissa mccarthy? we haven't watched snl regular for +15 years, so half o' the cast is gonna be more than a little unfamiliar to us. *shrug* this one ain't one o' the two titles for 2016 that is exciting us... and given all the problems we has heard that rogue one is facing, we can reduce to one. as to the vitriol the ghostbusters movie is inspiring, am admitting bafflement. when we heard adam sandler, of all people, were gonna reboot the longest yard with himself staring as paul crewe, we were momentarily dumbstruck. weren't the reboot aspect that bothered us but rather that adam sandler were thinking he could replace burt reynolds, who were an all-american rb at florida state and pretty much the walking definition for 1970s macho-cool, in the role. sandler as caretaker or unger woulda' made sense to us, but paul crewe? we never saw the new longest yard, and we didn't give it much thought after our initial surprise. dunno. did the longest yard inspire the kinda hate that ghostbusters seems to be? if not, then why not? new ghostbusters. meh. until the movie is released and particular folks we know speak to its quality, or lack thereof, we will continue to have little interest in the title. HA! Good Fun!
  8. Haven't we played this game before? yes. HA! Good Fun!
  9. as an aside, am all in favor o' individual citizens speaking their mind on the current issues. many folks is gonna be wingnuts and/or idiots. many folks is gonna be bigoted and irresponsible. many folks is gonna have preconceptions that defy any attempt to advance any kinda dialectic. good. let the marketplace o' ideas work as it is 'posed to. let folks share beliefs and concerns. encourage folks to share beliefs and concerns. "to courageous, self-reliant men, with confidence in the power of free and fearless reasoning applied through the processes of popular government, no danger flowing from speech can be deemed clear and present unless the incidence of the evil apprehended is so imminent that it may befall before there is opportunity for full discussion. if there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and fallacies, to avert the evil by the processes of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence." is a freedom we have here that bruce does not. is a belief we share that seems to baffle bruce. we can have white supremacists and members o' the black panthers arguing 'bout issues w/o any chance o' criminalization based on ideas being shared. President is different. the President shouldn't simple shoot his mouth off and raise concerns as does the ordinary citizen. racial tensions IS high. can be concerned and advise restraint w/o premature characterization o' events, no? oh, and don't reduce to "you don't like obama much." is petty. we like obama just fine when it comes to any number o' issues, but we also don't ignore his failures. ferguson silence were fail. call the events in minnesota and louisiana symptomatic and deeply concerning were wrong. as for the agenda issue... are you channeling vol? what are we talking 'bout at the moment? is a fear in the US that cops indulge in excessive uses o' force, particularly with young, black men. it is an issue. the problem needs discussion. obama has been accused o' complacency regarding the issue. the recent videos gave him an opportunity to address the issue. sadly, he jumped the gun... no pun intended. his comments has a tendency to polarize rather than unify AND he might be complete wrong that the incidents is anything other than isolated and devoid o' any meaningful racial element. am not gonna get into you with it on foreign policy. again, if the accusation is that trump adds to the chaos, then how is obama comments any different. w/o any genuine idea o' what took place in minnesota and louisiana, he helped advance a narrative that may very well turn out to be wrong. worse, we see no way to view his comments as having done anything other than polarize opinion. those who look at the videos and see police brutality is gonna cheer on obama for speaking truth. other folks who can't ever see police negligence were equal angered by obama comments. and then there is folks such as Gromnir... folks who would ordinarily refuse to pick any kind o' side in the debate 'til we get more info. folks such as Gromnir listen to obama comments and has a tendency to be pushed to one extreme or the other. see obama as voicing a legit concern that need be raised regardless o' the timeliness, or folks who wonder at how a President could be so irresponsible as to suggest a link 'tween events and a larger problem when so little info is available. HA! Good Fun!
  10. *sigh* whether you believe there is larger problems in the US system o' justice (and trayvon martin is a horrible example for reasons we mentioned elsewhere on these boards... bad bruce,) the shootings in MN and LA do not necessarily represent such problems. to use the incidents in louisiana and minnesota to advance possible unrelated agenda issues is irresponsible at best. be Presidential. am agreeing that there is a problem in the US given the current relationship 'tween law enforcement and citizens... particularly young, black and male citizens. you think obama's recent comments did anything to reduce the tension? regardless, at this point in time, to claim that the videos from louisiana and minnesota were anything other than isolated incidents, and to claim that they is symptomatic o' larger problems facing the justice system is wrong. advance dialogue by advancing the possibly false perception that the recent shootings in louisiana and minnesota were symptomatic? is not necessarily a lie, but is pretty darn close... and is irresponsible given the current racial tensions. we do, as a nation, need more dialogue on the issues o' how police interact with citizens. as leferd mentions elsewhere, the fed is actual taking steps to deal with those issues. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/88037-dallas-sniper-shootings/?p=1826545 so why didn't obama do as did leferd? acknowledge that there is a deep perception problem and explain that the Federal government is committed to dealing with the problem through education programs that is already in place. counsel restraint. advise 'gainst premature rushes to judgement. be a President. HA! Good Fun!
  11. Interesting post , I have a question is Obama not suppose to show any sympathy towards certain police killings? Is he not suppose to get involved on a personal level especially considering the fact most of us acknowledge there are some real inconsistencies about how some African Americans are treated in US society? Also he condemned the Police killings at Dallas ... am not seeing a point. if obama had stayed complete silent on the dallas shootings, particular after seeming to rush to judgement on the earlier shootings in louisiana and minnesota, there woulda' been a p00p storm o' epic proportions. no gold star for obama for the no-brainer. and don't fail for false dichotomy. is not condemn shootings as part o' a symptomatic problem OR ____________. obama can sympathize and advocate restrain while _________. again, fill in the blanks with any number o' responses. is no dichotomy as bruce seems to wanna present. we expect sympathy, but we also expect obama to be Presidential. failure to say anything that mighta' helped prevent ferguson riots were disappointing. drawing conclusions 'bout larger problems related to police practices based on no more than a grainy video o' an armed man being wrestled to the ground and then shot AND video taken AFTER the shooting o' a person pulled over 'cause o' response to a BOLO? sorry, but the commentary at this point is irresponsible. w/o knowing more, to conclude that the recent shootings is symptomatic o' bigger problems for police is just... wrong. be sympathetic. be concerned. but be freaking Presidential. for chrissakes, one reason we dislike trump is 'cause he shoots his mouth off when speaking from a point o' ignorance. obama did the exact same thing you has criticized in trump, yes? HA! Good Fun!
  12. we also like ww, which were one o' the disappoints we had with BvS. we knew before seeing BvS that ww would get almost no screen time, nevertheless, the manner in which ww were utilized in the film felt forced and clumsy. hopefully the ww stand-alone flick is decent... though am understanding that filming actual ended earlier this year, so is no time for gadot to get in a little more gym work. *sigh* HA! Good Fun!
  13. “These fatal shootings are not isolated incidents” "Symptomatic of the broader challenges within our criminal justice system" obama was "deeply disturbed" by video of the shooting in baton rouge" etc. these is just recent. were worse after ferguson in part 'cause o' early failure to say nothing 'til tensions had boiled over. w/o knowing any actual facts, and seeming embracing the limited narrative presented in the media, obama is taking what is, 'til we know more, two isolated incidents that may actual turn out to be justified (or not) and turning 'em into an opportunity to advance a particular agenda. the guy in minnesota had a gun on his lap and were pulled over 'cause the cop in question were concerned that the driver might be a suspect identified in a BOLO? well, that woulda' been information we woulda' liked to have known before concluding that the shooting were symptomatic o' bigger racial issues, eh? obama has not been helping. fail from failure to respond as in ferguson when it took riots to get a comment from him, and now we got him arguably rushing to judgement? again, am not certain what would be the perfect thing to say as we suspect that advising restraint would only further enrage some segments o' society, but obama has not been helping with his commentary. HA! Good Fun!
  14. we would say that trump is more symptomatic than cause. is few, if any, folks who but for trump commentary would be peaceful and productive members o' society. and to be fair, obama handling o' racial tensions in the US is arguably adding as much (and likely more) to the chaos than anything trump says. yeah, we sympathize with obama as there is frequent no right thing to say, but generally when he does speak on racial issues, obama errs and helps further polarize an already concerned public. HA! Good Fun!
  15. I'm sorry, this is factually incorrect and you're a doo-doo head for thinking it. Why? She had like 3 minutes screentime or something and then beat up a big bad guy? manifested likes that gal gadot is pretty. to be fair, amy adams is kinda cute, but hardly hawt. for an enormous actiony blockbuster, it is typical that there will be at least one female star who is making adolescent boys marginally uncomfortable with their new and inexplicable feelings. without gadot... *shrug* HA! Good Fun!
  16. any way to change the title o' the thread? beer run 2016? places to see between beer stops 2016? could go with the dr. strangelove route. hurlshot's summer rv trip 2016 or: how i tricked my family into supporting my month long beerfest. hmmmm. something to think 'bout. HA! Good Fun!
  17. This article sums it up very well. we found the article to be insightful... but just for perspective, a bit o' info 'bout the author is useful. author worked as a cop for almost five years 'tween 1994 and 1999 after which he quit. a few years later he went to work for the naacp as a field organizer. he is also affiliated with the aclu, but as Gromnir is also having ties with aclu, we did a bit o' cursory checking and we find little save for acknowledgement that at one point he were a "program associate." job title is a bit misleading. aclu program associates do general ofice support such as answering phones and making photocopies. currently the author is a politician who has made numerous attempts to run for office in missouri as he lived in ferguson, missouri. after the events in ferguson, police reform became a major cornerstone o' his campaigns. he also has written articles 'bout the inherent racism that prevents black communities from electing black representatives. author had a similar oped piece in 2014... washington post. were almost immediate after robert mcculloch announcement. drew considerable ire and criticism from any number o' folks in law enforcement. am certain you can look for the wp article and the comments that followed. is more than a couple response pieces as well. the linked is interesting. not saying otherwise. HA! Good Fun!
  18. ah, much better. were admitted conflicted 'bout images o' strip mines in the territorial lands o' the lakota, and monuments o' US Presidents defacing holy places in the Black Hills. so endeth emo-Gromnir. we don't drink alcohol, but am admitting that your coors visit almost makes us consider taking up a new vice. have fun. stay safe. HA! Good Fun!
  19. And that's why Donald will be USA new president. almost 25k likes for trump? golly. one wonders how many o' the legion o' social media followers will actually drag themselves to the polls to vote. as an aside, we believe that more consideration o' blm complaints is a good thing, though not for obvious reasons. how many Decades did it take for a commercial plane crash to ever be caught on film? were actual conspiracy theorists that claimed that plane crashes were a myth being created as some kinda cover-up precisely 'cause there were never any filming o' the crashes. 'course with the advent o' cell phones with camera and video capture, we got sudden get loads o' plane crash video. is not that plane crashes sudden increased. up until two years ago, violent crime, all violent crimes, were decreasing in frequency in the USA. such decreases included police shootings and responding attacks 'pon police. is a good thing that we no longer need wait to read 'bout such violence in our local news papers the day following events. perhaps a few o' the national outlets carried such news o' police related violence as well? regardless, 'cause we weren't seeing such police-related violences, it weren't part o' our consciousness. today we get news much faster, and every time an arrest is made in public, crowds pull out their cell phones. every time a 300 lb minority man (or woman) is wrestled to the ground while Resisting arrest and becomes injured in the process, we got people marching in the streets o' philadelphia and dallas. in spite of the significant overall decrease in violent crimes in this country, there is instead a perception o' an epidemic o' such. as such, blm is not significant because it makes us aware o' widespread violence being perpetrated 'gainst minorities. however, blm is meaningful, and hilary clinton is correct that more attention need be paid to african american concerns. that being said, is not the voiced concerns o' blm that we should worry 'bout most, though such concerns cannot be ignored either. yeah, listen to the complaints, but the actual reason to listen is to be hearing the widespread anger, fear, and hopelessness. regardless of 'ethnic background, lower income families and individuals were disproportionate hurt by the economic downturn. we posted elsewhere that new jobs created since the economy has improved has gone almost exclusive to people with at least some level of college education. there has been no economic recovery for a large % of our african american population. the highly educated immigrants from nigeria is doing fantastic in the USA-- those african americans is living the american dream. too few. blm is not actual revealing an epidemic o' police violence directed at african americans. until ferguson, such violence had been steadily decreasing. unfortunately, there is now greater fear and anger o' police than ever before. the police is scared too. in places such as chicago where we has seen recent spikes in violence o' all types, cops, in part as a reaction to blm, has been less willing to do their freaking jobs. http://www.npr.org/2016/03/11/469974819/chicago-murder-rate-spikes-less-aggressive-policing-blamed there is a problem. as a nation we need to listen. unfortunately, we thinks we is missing the real message hidden in all the noise from both sides o' the debate. blm. black lives do matter. is not cops that actual threaten the ordinary black citizen. there is a systemic flaw that is growing worse in this country, a flaw that makes it prohibitive difficult for those without to get more. no home ownership. no career. no hope. the police stuff we see on tv and internet is terrible. we need listen. we need education o' cops that failure o' the "attitude test" is not a legit reason to punish citizens. we need educate some segments o' our minority population that when confronted by an armed police officer who could be racist or simple having a bad day, the smart response is Not to become aggressive or confrontational-- you ain't a punk for following the instructions o' an armed policeman. etc. *sigh* unfortunately, by focusing on the problem(s) o' police violence, we once again take our eye of the real problems faced by many US citizens today. poverty. fear. hopelessness. get folks jobs and homes and a freaking future. so many o' these other issues will disappear if we were to find a way to give all american citizens real hope that tomorrow will be better than today. HA! Good Fun!
  20. yeah, the bound boxes is a bit o' a disappointment. bioware responded that they admit that bound is not ideal and they are considering solutions. on the other hand, the xp bonuses on the dvl armour set is actual rather impressive. with the three pieces you now got, the armour provides +25% xp. full armour set is gonna be +50%. the armour is bound to legacy and usable at level 1. is nice armour for new characters you create in the future. HA! Good Fun!
  21. if mass murderers and terrorists were more interested in getting away, there would be far fewer mass murders. HA! Good Fun!
  22. find a conviction under the applicable statute. we will wait. compare to such stuff as epa or traffic statutes is not gonna be helpful, or relevant. and for reasons stated by comey multiple times, the attempt to pioneer new legal ground would be a fail in any event. is not an easy burden for a prosecutor to overcome. has never been a gross negligence conviction under the statute. 'ccording to comey, only once since 1917 when the statute were passed has there ever been an attempt to utilize gross negligence as 'posed to actual intent. sure as hell ain't gonna use negligence or, god forbid, strict liability as the ridiculous article linked suggests. keep looking to random sources that appear to support what you wanna believe is not a good way to educate self. nytimes coverage were a bit sketchy, so we will avoid linking https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/fbi-director-set-to-appear-before-congressional-committee-to-answer-questions-on-clinton-investigation/2016/07/07/eb43ec7e-43c1-11e6-88d0-6adee48be8bc_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-more-top-stories_comeyhearing-1pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory HA! Good Fun! Lots of prominent lawyers think she could've been indicted, so they don't agree with you or Comey. So gross negligence standard can be used in lots of other cases, but not under the espionage statue, even though it's explicitly in the statue? Doesn't make sense. And your definition of gross negligence doesn't make sense either, if I leave a manhole cover open and someone falls in and gets killed, I'm not liable? Good to know. Comey bent over backwards to find a way not to indict her, both on gross negligence and intent, since she knowingly exposed top secret info to both her lawyers and her network admins. for not proper returning a manhole cover? chances are you would not be criminally liable. thank goodness. why would you wanna send somebody to prison if it were an honest mistake? sure, you would face civil liability, so you would likely be paying for the mistake for the rest of your life, but w/o intent we rare send folks to prison. seriously, what kinda screwed up world is you trying to advocate wherein honest mistakes in judgement w/o any criminal behavior is resulting in criminal liability? even when such liability exists in statutes, rare does prosecutors and/or finders of fact criminalize such behavior. gross negligence is an option to prevent fumbduckery from allowing folks to literal/figurative get away with murder. is not ordinary. extreme limited number o' situations. requires statute. and comey already addressed the Congressman's concerns, most o' whom is lawyers. the statute that clinton would be criminalized under has been in existence for 99 years, and never has there been a criminal conviction using the gross negligence provision. the lawyers who has pretended to be baffled by the fbi recommendation is treating the situation as if it were a 1st year law school crim law exam question rather than a real world prosecution. yes, under the letter o' the law, there is potential liability for clinton. yes, clinton deserves some kinda punishment. unfortunately, comey, a dyed-in-wool republican and a no-nonsense advocate o' law and order, has observed that in the Real World where most o' us live, no reasonable prosecutor would willingly take such a case to trial. some o' the questions is genuine mind boggling. prosecute clinton's attorneys for viewing documents that after-the-fact were revealed to be classified? comey is having a hard time answering questions from Congress 'cause such is often ludicrous even if they seem valid to the average and uneducated. hell, You linked to an article that were using strict liability examples as some kinda proof o' how clinton's negligence could be criminalized. the gulf 'tween what you think you know and what is reality continues to grow rather than shrink. am not a fan of the clintons. bush gets blame for the recent economic problems, but the banking fails that led to the real estate implosion began 'cause o' the clinton administration. is too many examples o' both clintons being dishonest. in spite o' bruce feelings on the subject, the obama administration handling o' the middle-east, russia and a whole laundry list o' foreign policy issues is gonna, in years to come, be case studies in incompetence... and we ain't yet certain how much clinton supported the general erosion o' US influence 'cross the globe. etc. we don't mind seeing clinton squirm. even so, this email thing is getting predictable ridiculous. am understanding that the point o' the hearings is actual to damage clinton's Presidential hopes as 'posed to getting at the truth o' what illegal activity, if any, were resulting from clinton's monumental stoopid private server, but as Gromnir is actual naive enough to still have respect for the integrity o' the process, what we is seeing and hearing makes us a bit nauseated. clinton supporters is gonna see a witch hunt. folks who hate clinton is gonna see a cover-up. is all largely pointless as the dialogue is simple polarizing opinions that already exist. HA! Good Fun!
