... and now Gromnir learned something. am vague recalling an international nato tank competition from 80s, but tank biathlon were new to us. as for weird russian competitions, am still gonna vote for chess boxing as our favorite. another image for gifted. funny stuff. err. HA! Good Fun!

coming from guy we needed spend multiple pages explaining the difference 'tween temp change and rate of temp change, is an odd observation. err on side o' gifted ignorance is the conservative play. nevertheless, considering how by now the only way a person wouldn't know trumps tanks would be stationary is if they were willfully avoiding reading articles which referenced those tanks, we cannot wonder if you might wanna look in the mirror for a person needing a neurological consult. and see, you really did learn something. HA! good Fun!
-
gotta be careful as am knowing how delicate is gifted. regardless, tank guy were one o' the more iconic photos/images o' the second half o' the 20th century. am genuine surprised gifted didn't recognize what were happening in the photo. important thing is you learned something. congrats. HA! Good Fun!

no doubt images o' warsaw ghetto fighters throwing rocks at armed germans in 43' is also a h00t for gifted.

Zeke: Need to work harder after (another) 'poor decision' this clear weren't the worst thing zeke has ever done, but 'bout the only positive thing we might say on behalf o' the dallas rb in connection with yet another incident is his apologies to the nfl and commissioner is getting better even if his judgement and behaviour is 'bout what we would expect from an unruly teenager. have zeke voluntarily put in contract that he will have a cowboys/nfl appointed guardian accompanying him whenever out after dark and in a location where alcohol could be consumed. agree in advance to incremental increase in fines and lost playing time for each additional violation o' team rules, nfl policy and/or new guardian scheme. do such and am betting future zeke issues drop to near zero. this guy is not learning and is making no effort to change. am suspecting most dallas fans (an likely vol) is ok with the status quo, but if only to help zeke for when he leaves football and needs make adult decisions w/o the cowboys acting as his perpetual safety net, somebody should step forward and try to educate this not-so-young-anymore man. for an nfl rb who gets a good number o' carries, after football is likely not a distant future concern. said similar stuff 'bout hill earlier in the thread. these guys who is making same and similar mistakes repeated could use the kinda help which nobody wants, but far too many need. HA! Good Fun! ps is ez to hate on the cowboys, but to show we got love too

well, trump did claim there were gonna be "brand new sherman tanks" on display, so anything is possible. HA! Good Fun! ps rather than admit simple mistake, we wouldn't be surprised if trump forced some museum piece sherman to be placed on display alongside the bradley and abrams vehicles.

can't speak for others, but we got three criticism. 1) let the other guys flex having been a gym guy since high school and involved in national level o' sports competition. am not a small guy. even so, we do not feel the need to wear a wife beater tank to impress people. we don't even own a wife beater tank. do such makes us instant wonder bout why such folks is feeling the need to overcompensate. let russia and france and north korea do their military parades. is cute and sad to watch 'em flex. the US don't need to try and impress. 2) seems to be missing the spirit o' the typical 4th o' july celebration in spite o' all the flags on display, 4th o' july has always been, for us, a family celebration. am not certain we can fully express just how militant anti-american is a few in our family. nevertheless, in spite o' political differences, our family put such aside on the 4th o' july... mostly put aside. is one o' the few days o' the year when the military folks in our family and the wannabee revolutionaries may get together for a pickup game o' basketball or maybe softball and then enjoy food and fireworks late into the eve. is an unspoken détente observed. bring in tanks and other military stuff don't necessarily mesh with the family atmosphere we hope continues. 3) trump being trump am not able to recollect in our lifetime a President appropriating the 4th o' july for political agenda. 1987, reagan did a speech from jefferson memorial on july 3rd, and he were criticized for doing so. perhaps were karma that the day were frightful hot and the assembled politicians, having removed their jackets, were nevertheless sweating something fierce as they endured a sweltering +20 minute speech. am recalling how at the time we thought it were criminal to have the colorguard, standing immediate behind the President, remain motionless and endure the heat in their full uniform for duration o' the event. nevertheless, 'cause trump wants to inject himself into an event which has been apolitical for as long as we may remember, we are now having military hardware added as props. his speech is functional a campaign rally for trump, but 'cause it is part o' the existing 4th o' july celebration, he is gonna bill the american people for the added expense o' altered security and tanks, planes and lord only knows what else. but what could go wrong? 4th is on a thursday and many people taking off friday. add in relative low gas prices and am expecting dc beltway will be a mess. hot, extreme humid humid and wet conditions for dc. major changes to what has been an established event for years necessitating unforseen security and public transportation alterations. plus there is anticipation o' considerable protests occurring simultaneous with trump's celebration o' trump. so again, what could go wrong? the park service people ultimate running the show is professionals and we expect they will able to handle the unusual nonsense added to 2019's 4th celebration. even so, we didn't see the need to 'fix' something which weren't broken. has been an apolitical event celebrating family and patriotism for as long as we recollect. am not seeing how tanks make better. trump wants tanks at a trump rally? let him pay. heck, he still owes dc millions for his part o' the 2017 inauguration event. HA! Good Fun!

Neil Gaiman's Sandman Is Becoming an Expensive Netflix Series netflix? am paying little enough attention to tv most o' the time, so we were unaware dc's streaming service were experiencing difficulties. does make us wonder what the next gaiman work to be made into tv will be. HA! Good Fun!

deny we can and deny we do. Bernie Sanders Condemns Threats Against Ann Coulter Speech At Berkeley Bernie Sanders Condemns Violent Protests in San Jose can keep this up all day, 'cause bernie deserves better from gd. am not a bernie guy, but we genuine wish more liberals were as outspoken as has been bernie regarding antifa. say what you will 'bout the vt senator, but on the issue o' violence, particular violence directed at offensive speakers, he is complete consistent and undeserving o' criticism. in point o' fact, we would say bernie has been clear, unflinching and beyond reproach on this issue. HA! Good Fun! ps apologies for double-post.

not the bomb part which is hard. iranian uranium enrichment is a hurdle but hardly insurmountable... get to 90% (rule o' thumb for weapons grade threshold) when they has achieved anywhere 'tween at least 20-27% in past has estimates at ~1yr, though honestly the stockpile o' quantity amount is hardly changing the timeline. iran already possessed more than enough to start the process for enrichment to reach goals for at least a single weapon. that said, "can't figure out" the bomb part is likely an oversimplification. once you got your enriched uranium, you still need go from gas to metal. isn't a huge technical obstacle, but nevertheless need to get a conversion plant operational before one may have the kinda uranium which one would use as part o' a weapon. is no reason to believe iran would abstain from simultaneous work on enrichment and build o' a conversion facility, but while the science may be decades old, the iranians don't have the engineering experience with such technologies to be making timeline guesstimates more optimistic as 'posed to less. conservative estimates o' at least a year for a single weapon, and perhaps they got enough genuine stockpiled low-enriched to produce a couple more. if iran tries to hide their enrichment efforts and go for "sneak-out" rather than breakout, you may add at least a few more months. if the iranians have been surreptitiously keeping their enrichment activities hidden (oddly enough, this don't seem to be the case) breakout would be achieved quicker than conservative estimates. 'course a year goes by fast, no? as for china and hong kong... hong kong usefulness to china depends on the hong kong people. as much as china might like to believe otherwise, the lease didn't mean human capital gots transferred. think o' it in football terms. art model didn't like his landlord situation much in 1995, so he took his team and moved it to baltimore. couldn't be the browns in baltimore, but so what? let cleveland keep their stadium. let'em keep the name. the most important aspect o' the team were the people, no? let china keep the buildings and the land. such stuff has much intrinsic value but is not the real worth o' hong kong. the only reason why businesses stayed in hong kong is 'cause the chinese made staying an attractive enough option for businesses and people. sure, china can treat the people o' hong kong like so many uyghur, but is not gonna be particular productive. as an aside, is our understanding the hong kong lease only applied to the new territories and not hong kong island itself. admitted, most o' "hong kong" is new territory, but regardless, the island were an outright english colony and required no lease. HA! Good Fun!

am understanding the anger and disappointment, but bernie is a poor candidate for what you propose. is a pacifist who decries violence (regardless o' ideology) and he were involved in the peaceful protests o' multiple generations, y'know, 'cause he is so old. wouldn't call him a journalist, but he did write for a liberal publication after he finished university. also, considering he were one o' the few, consistent and vocal senators to oppose the patriot act when it were first enacted, and each time after when its lifeline were extended, is unlikely he is gonna support any group which wishes to suppress viewpoint expression. am not a bernie fan, but am thinking you do him a disservice. gonna need find somebody younger or at least somebody who has been less consistent supportive o' core American values. keep in mind that by even modern european standards, bernie is kinda moderate. however, and perhaps most significant, robespierre were a lawyer. HA! Good Fun!

am not thinking armed cops is the indicator you believe it to be. the reason we tend to have armed cops is 'cause we got an armed populace. if only the cops went unarmed, it would be passing strange, and am suspecting it would be difficult to find individuals willing to work as cops if everytime they faced a situation likely to result in a suspect producing a handgun or shotgun, the cops were limited to wielding pepper spray. our cops is armed 'not 'cause o' big or small government, but 'cause o' simple pragmatism. speaking o' big government, the US doesn't have cops. what we mean is, there is no national police force. am knowing we showed a map o' st. louis when there were all that excitement in ferguson a few years past, yes? st. louis county has 88 different municipalities. a few o' those municipalities kinda go cooperative on police and fire n' such, but you still got a whole bunch o' different police forces, each with their own rules and procedures. potential 88 different police force, plus state cops, all operating in one county in the US, and each o' the police departments with their own rules and regulations and procedures with no real federal oversight possible. and when people ask why The government, doesn't do something, anything, 'bout police problems across the nation, there is a simple answer: one o' the things the Constitution specific denies power to the Federal government is police power. b!tch and moan 'bout government indifference or ineptitude or racism is, in this singular case, complete misguided. the fed government literal cannot do anything save most oblique efforts 'bout police behaviour in chautauqua, ny or ferguson, missouri. regardless, big or small government ain't a factor insofar as arming cops is concerned. single biggest factor as to why our cops is so heavily armed is fact our populace is so heavily armed, particular with handguns. almost every traffic stop is gonna result in cop adrenaline peaking 'cause any driver might have a glock tucked under their leg or in the glove box. contrary to narrative o' democrat candidates, assault weapons (*snort*) is producing the equivalent o' a rounding error insofar as homicides in a given year for the US. handguns, on the other hand... ... the thing is, even democrats ain't gonna try and take away handguns from americans and is handguns which result in thousands o' homicides per year and results in all those local cop forces deciding to similar arm their police forces. aside Oregon GOP Senators Return To Capitol After Dems Agree To Kill Climate Bill and so, as predictable as a season o' buffy the vampire slayer, the democratic apocalypse were thwarted in the nick o' time. a good thing too 'cause a few o' our boardies were shivering themselves to pieces... poor dears. now if only The Government would do something 'bout those opinionated and vile journalists, eh? HA! Good Fun!

Man who got squirrel called Deeznutz hooked on meth is arrested "Officers seized the squirrel and shared a video showing it behaving erratically and bouncing off the sides of its cage. "But they were unable to test Deeznutz for drugs and later released him after Paulk had fled on a stolen motorcycle." multiple sources sharing the story, including ap. had to check and make sure we didn't rip van winkle our self to april 1, 2020. HA! Good Fun!

@Guard Dog am not certain why the candidates aim so low on what amounts to fantasy offerings. would get more mileage if they claimed, if elected, every US family would get a free robot butler/supercomputer with drone capability... 'cause some folks like drones. tell people the robot could be leased out to companies so that an individual would not need go to work anymore if they did not wish to. or why not offer every american a personalized executive order grant? end income tax. abolish Congress. compel journalists to be unbiased. why limit to possible when is obvious that fantasy is an option? heck, could say you would give hbo 100 days to start filming a better season 8 for got and if that don't happen, harris would then use executive order to make'em do so. am betting harris woulda' gotten better feedback with our GoT option. wasted opportunities. HA! Good Fun!

https://www.google.com/search?q=andrew+yang+tech+executive&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS699US699&ei=CJ4VXcKnBoHr9APc9a-gBA&start=0&sa=N&ved=0ahUKEwjCy_zUsYvjAhWBNX0KHdz6C0Q4FBDy0wMIfA&biw=1722&bih=865 am seeing the label everywhere. https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=53702871 looks like for a time, yang were a vice president (exec?) at mmf. four years, after which he became a ceo for the test prep we mentioned. well, mystery solved... sorta. am suspecting gd just about burst a blood vessel when harris declared she would executive order the second amendment to its knees. 'cours ms. harris knows better. executive orders is not magical wish granting genies, and even if they were... executive order can kinda fill in the gaps between Congressional Legislation, but cannot replace or repeal. sadly for harris, there is already fed legislation on background checks with black-letter and clear-defined exceptions for registration requirements. is easy to make impossible promises when running for President. this one is a doozy though. HA! Good Fun!

am not doubting they had him labeled as a tech guy. we were multitasking, so were audio only for the debate. is a bit weird though, no? started as corporate lawyer but his signature "job" is venture for america, which is a nonprofit which helps recent graduates become entrepreneurs themselves. ny based. HA! Good Fun!
-
hmmm. only bother with the first 1:20. yang is an entrepreneur, but he is a lawyer by education with a ba in economics. his business ventures has been education/test prep and a healthcare startup. much o' his platform is based on recognition that automation is ending the need for a human component in manufacturing and even in many service fields. *shrug* HA! Good Fun! ps you get a degree in economics from brown and go ba instead o' bs... am thinking that alone denies you from ever being able to claim "tech guy" mantle.
-
not gonna assume. who were the "tech guy?" HA! Good Fun!

sign o' the apocalypse? enjoy-joy your stay. HA! Good Fun! ps if they figure out a way to leave a taco on your pillow, we might be won over by 'em.

gotta be cautious regarding bernie numbers from 2016. from a five thirty eight article from 2016. "We should also avoid reading too much into Sanders’s support among independent leaners in terms of how he’d fare in November: The independents who vote in party primaries are in no way representative of independents generally." bernie did well enough with independents who typical identify democrat more than republican, but these were not the same independents who won battleground states for trump. currently, demo-leaning independents favor biden, particularly minority and over 50 independents. have honest not seen specific numbers for independents targeted direct for battlegrounds... which seems like an odd oversight. bernie has a message which should resonate with many independents. gonna need to convince 'em that trump's failed promises 'bout reinvigorating a dying manufacturing sector necessitate a bold change rather than a slight shift. seems like it should be an easy sell, but clear it ain't. am s'posing one bright spot for bernie is the independents who voted trump in the battlegrounds also typical voted obama previous, which is why presidential results were so shocking to many. 'ccording to exit polls, the 2016 battleground state vote were not a vote for trump, whom most voters didn't approve, but votes were cast for a lesser o' evils. clinton were a continuation o' obama policies for many battleground independents. biden may need overcome same hard feelings... is a hurdle bernie might not need overcome. admission: at time o' the election, and even short after, we believed bernie woulda' been a superior democrat candidate. democrats were gonna vote democrat regardless o' bernie or clinton. the thing is, we believed bernie woulda' motivated more o' those apathetic democrats who rare vote, and at the same time, we thought bernie woulda' had a better chance with independents. honest don't know anymore. am recognizing trump inexplicable, and beyond all reason, has his 30% core guaranteed, with another 10% virtual locked in as well. more mind boggling is that inevitable scandals revealed 'tween now and the election will only hurt democrats-- trump, is immune to scandal. every story o' deceit, corruption or lurrid excess only further convinces his base trump is real and relatable... or that the deep state is out to get him... or both? converse, if a young woman comes forth between now and the elections and claims that in 2008, gabbard failed to pay for her girl scout cookie order (thin mints and samoas? how gauche) it is all over for the candidate, regardless o' truth o' the story. HA! Good Fun!

not an option as we choose locations and all business transactions occur while complete disrobed and relieved o' personal items. short o' a bionic hooker with a cybernetic eye or some such, am perfectly safe from such. HA! Good Fun!
-
not even trump would cite drudge or heavy, and we honest didn't see anything from nj.com other than their expert input... none of whom identified gabbard save as side note fodder. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/us/2020_democratic_presidential_nomination-6730.html https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/democratic-debate-poll/ recommendation: wait 'til a few days after second debate and then check the above two links. HA! Good Fun! ps oh well. HA!

and that is why Gromnir goes the extra mile and pays for hookers. 'pon reflection, is possible our observation ain't exactly the anticipated takeaway gorth had in mind when he shared the anecdote. HA! Good Fun!

the hurdle for warren is she might appear too similar bernie to attract independents, and independents decided the last Presidential election. look at some o' the independents on this board and ask self, given warren's views on gun control and government spending, is they likely to vote warren even if trump is the alternative? the google trends thing is one o' those good news v. bad news items. so many new searches likely means far too many people had no idea who gabbard were before the debates. a few o' the fringe candidates who enjoyed positive name recognition from the debates is gonna need do something to capitalize on that new awareness else they will sink back into obscurity. perhaps sadly, is only a handful o' times in history when the debates had other than small impact on outcomes, but in the absence o' anything meaningful happening other than the debates, the tendency to overinvest in their importance is understandable. HA! Good Fun!
